Santa doesn't exist!

found out around like 7 years old over a couple years. first thing was that id try to stay up all night, but hed never show up (yet i still got presents) and then i got a note, supposedly from Santa, telling me to be good and do my schoolwork yadda yadda. the note was in my dads handwriting.

didnt bother me much at all i always suspected

anyway, if i have kids i wont be lying to them about santa or any other holiday imaginaries. ill just be honest, but tell them not to spoil it for kids that think otherwise

that being said, I was never raised with Santa, so I imagine I ruined many people's child hoods when they said santa was coming and I said good luck with that delusion.

...what?! I was born into one of those kinda Christian houses. Besides, its better then what my friends and I do now (go to the mall and sit talking loudly about how santa doesnt exist near the santa station or whatever your mall calls it). Yes, I fully realize I'm a monster.

Who cares if he isnt real, the feeling of magic and wonderment that goes with santa is irreplaceable no need to be all grinchy.

I was told at 10 just before i did a couple of tests that decide which high school you go to (great timing) though thankfully it didnt ruin my grade

Yeah, I never believed in Santa. I'm originally from China, and we aren't overly big on Xmas, and by the time I moved to NZ and learnt about him, I was old enough to know it was probably a lie.

My mother use to the hooves from my dad's hunting trips to make reindeer tracks and sled marks.So I believed until I found a trunk full of presents marked "from Santa" a month before xmas.

I don't know if I ever truly believed in Santa... Perhaps awhile but no one ever tried to hide the fact that he was fake so it didn't take that long :/
