I just watched Furburts Wiggles clip.
THE HELL.
I think my brain exploded right when the sombrero lizards came up.
SOMBRERO LIZARDS.

OT, I'm thinking... nope, can't top that and the Claymation of Doom.

SOMBRERO LIZARDS.

Yeah, I think I win the thread...
I've seen this before. Nearly pissed myself.
I will not sleep tonight...
Same here. Who the hell thought that was a good idea for kids?
Probably somebody who doesn't view kids as idiots... I don't particularly see the problem. It wasn't glorifying anything, the kids were aptly horrified and the creature was fearsome. Then again, I am only seeing this one scene without so for all I know there is an orgy afterward but from what I've seen, it isn't anything I would deny my kids. Then again, my five year old thinks Cthulhu is awesome so eh.

Angelina Anaconda - I think that was the name. That program is a total mind-fuck it's incredibly strange, it always used to freak me out.

Yes, the Mysterious Stranger is frickin' scary. But its a different kind of scary from the horror I have here to show you...

Swedish kid show.

People say they had nightmares from it. :) Don't remember much from it, so it's either I just lack the memory of it or I suppress it. My big brother was though a bit freaked out about it.

The rest of that movie is probably the most messed up children's cartoon I have ever seen. I love it. Honestly, that's the first thing I thought of when I read the title of this thread.

How about Art Attack? Sure, the artist himself is a cool guy, but the talking bust scared me.
Ah! So I'm not the only one XD
OT: It MUST be The Magic Roundabout, that song that kept on playing...it was haunting, but nothing compared to Bill Bailey's version.

Oh my god, it's Wiggles.

I'll find the video, and you'll see. You'll all see!

OH GOD.

I won't be surprised if this has roughly the same affect on the brains of modern children as would Agent Orange.

cough cracked cough cough

anyway, there are some clearly fucked up foreign things(a lot from the middle east), so I'm just going to say anything on TV in that area.

The pirates laugh haunts my soul.
My thoughts exactly. For some reason, though, I find the pirate bit hilarious. It comes out of absolutely nowhere and has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the video...well, more than anything else.

Apparently, according to religion, Pokémon is Satanic.
No, only according to a minority of religious nutcases who dont know what they are talking about.
Argh, beat me to it. Way to drop sweet knowledge on these kids.

Seeing as how I was coming on here to post The Mysterious Stranger, which has already been done, I've got nothing.

So far I have only seen one example of satanism in a children's show in this thread.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
Peewee's Playhouse.
Really? I think you lack the knowledge to tell what a satanic children's show would be.

What. The. Fuck. Was. That.

What the hell is that show!?
It's called "The adventures of Mark Twain" or something like that, it's NOT a show but a claymation movie, and something of a cult classic. Comes on TV now and again. It's not even remotely satanic (though I suppose some could make an arguement for anything), you have to take things in context of the entire production. It features people going to heaven as well, and even a guy who gets sent to the wrong heaven by accident if I remember.

It is directed at children, but it's also teaching about Mark Twain and his point of view on things and the lessons inherant in his work. The three kids are Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer, and Becky Thatcher all of whom he created for childrens novels.

It's a bit deeper than most children's fare, and I think that was both the point, and why it didn't catch on more.

Perhaps a better title would have been Sadistic Children's Shows
