Who do you play as, that's the question...

Considering we've had 5 Saw films, isn't the game version coming a little late to the party?

These sort of movie-film things tend to be awful, so I think I'll keep my distance until it's been well reviewed.

Puzzel based mechanic, ok so fancy tech talk for quick time event if the video is to be beleived. But really who the hell thought this would be a good idea how much depth and gameplay can a game based on a film that really just revolves around traps and benail plot points possibly contain. Will there be another it was the dead guy on the floor who did it moment, more stupid dialogue and overacting bad excuses for killers motivation.

Im going on a limb and calling this one bad ahead of time saw and its predecessors were all terrible and stupid.

I sort of like the movies, but I can't really imagining that it could be pulled off as a good game. I can't think of anything in the SAW movies that would function as good gameplay, so i fear that it'll just be bad gameplay between cutscenes.

Doesn't look like there's going to be any nudity in that game, so I'm not interested one bit.

Seems interesting... Only an early stage yet so I shall see what it has to offer when it has been completed.

I still find it hard to believe that anyone thought Saw: the Video Game was a good idea.

Although, this is coming from someone who utterly hates the films, so I'm probably not the demographic they're aiming for.

no the reason i and many other people like saw is because it isnt just about some killer go around murdering

it forces people to do what they find horrible and makes you think "what would i do?"

do game would make you do something that you truly would never do unless it was your life

The first film was really cleverly done, centred on the unfolding connections between the two characters who at first appear to be complete strangers locked together for some unknown purpose. I would really recommend the first film to most everyone.

Every other film in the series... just... *Sigh*...

I really don't hold high hopes for the game. I mean, combat? Wtf?

All I hear from the presenter in the video is "$$$$$ familiar scenes from the movies $$$$$$$". Listen to the tone - he isn't even able to *pretend* there is something in this game to be excited about. Pure cash grab.

Shame. There is potential in Saw for a good game. For instance, a game about building traps.

Same here. I liked the first film, the rest were pretty much crap.

It has potential, unless it follows exactly the films (meaning the player would know exactly what to do, so it wouldn't be scary anymore).

Just one thing - if you saw the animation - how come no one would think to take the syringes out of the toilet bowl to avoid the "pain". I'm very well aware that it's a game so has to have a certain linearity, but they do things like this in the films as well...

Search button.

I just don't think that you can bring across the feel of the Saw movies, which is whether you have the will to live or not, to a game. Because in a game, you always want to succeed, and you can't feel pain.
