I actually had a lot to say on the subject, but then I noticed that like an immature child, you resorted to name calling. There is little to be gained by attempting to reason with someone that still has a child mentality.
What name calling are you referring to?
"Xbone"
I honestly thought that everyone was just calling it that for short... I didn't realise it was supposed to be an insult.

I don't know what API the PlayStation 4 is using. But I'm sure it won't be as PC friendly as the XBOX One.
The PS4 is using X86-64 processors as well. And with higher RAM, Unified Memory and far greater Internal Bandwidth than the Xbox One it's a much better friend to PC gaming than the Xbox One.

In fact, given Sony's growing support for indie devs, I predict the exact opposite to your hypothesis. Microsoft being PC friendly? Really? Given the end of support for XNA, making most (if not all) of their first party games 360 exclusive and doing their best to shut out Indie devs and with the recent revelations about the XBone games being demoed on Windows 7 (proving the developers either can't or won't work with Win8 at the moment), can you honestly think they have been supporting PC Gaming at all?

EDIT: Forgot about Games For Windows Live, because that was what PC gaming needed, amirite?

OT: ......It's a nice doorstop, I guess.

I'm sure it'll have some games good enough to make me swallow my pride and buy the damn thing.

It won't turn into a giant Praying insect like creature and devour you while you sleep.

Honestly though I do think that it has some interesting looking games and I like the sharing idea (how it will be implemented is a whole other deal) and the fact that they gave a definitive launch date are all positives. But that said none of those are enough to make me overlook the negatives.

The Xbox-one is -to the best of my knowledge- not the Atari Jaguar. Also, presumably the Xbox-one will not die as easily as the 360.
Also, it means that the original xbox should now be called something like the 'xbox-classic' or 'original xbox' in order to prevent confusion between it and the Xbox-one, and to me 'Xbox-Classic' evokes a nice sense of class. Also, I can make jokes at Microsoft's expense regarding the title of 'Xbox-one'.

If I was ever in the need for a very expensive paper weight, I wouldn't have to look much farther than the xbone.

It looks big and heavy enough to beat someone to death with if they break into your house.
It's shiny.
That's all I can think of right now.

Fantasia might be fun.
