So I know that quite a few of us watched the show when it was out, and holy shit it had some scary moments.

For me the flat out scariest episode was 'King Ramses Curse.' You know which one I mean.
Return the slab....

I agreed with the King Ramses Curse episode. I don't know why but when I first saw that Return the slab scene (the wailing ghoul thing) it made me run out of the room as oppose to just changing the channel (what? I was a kid back then),

I can't say I had one I considered too scary. At least back then.

Hindsight makes me see that Ramses was a creepy little thing. Maybe the Were mole episode was shuddery too.

My thoughts started to wander over to Fred but really, it just makes me laugh.

Make that a third for king ramses curse, I had to mute that particular episode to watch it when I was younger.

This episode, whatever it's called.

My friends and I have appropriately dubbed him "The Big Blue Motherf***er".

The number 1 on that video, the Fusilli one where he turns them into puppets. When I was a kid I used to be really freaked out by puppets and things. That episode kept me up for a night.

The one where strange eggs turn the man (I don't know his English name) into a duck. It was hoorifying, because when you're a kid it feels real.

Dat slab bro, dat slab.
Considering the demographic, that episode was pretty freaky. Hell, even for adults it's pretty freaky.
I considered the Fred episodes, but they were less scary and more...

The Katz Hotel
Although that's probably because my arachnophobia was horrible when I was a kid

The only one I honestly could not watch back then was King Ramses' Curse. Whenever I saw it was on, I would change the channel. The mere image of the spirit and the sound of his voice for even a moment was enough to send chill down my spine. None of the episodes were that bad looking back. And I do agree that, now that I'm able to better think about it, Fusilli likely is the more frightening episode. If only because it is more horrifying in it's implications. But Ramses will likely always win for me.

This scene is one of the scariest damn thing to ever appear in a kid's cartoon show. It wins. I can't even imagine how high the creators had to be when they came up with this.

I'm sorry, but the Harvest Moon episode was the scariest (and best I thought).

"You either grow, or go"

It was that music that played while the head spoke. Creepy.

Off topic:

Strangest episode for me was that one with the Doctor's tower. He shot cannonballs of feelings through people? That was weird.

Chalk up another vote for Perfect.

Have the other dreams as well. They're not scary, but they're needed to recover from the trauma that is "You're not perfect".

For straight out darkest theme, the winner is the episode where Eustace and Muriel turn into puppets.

NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

"Get oooooooooout"

Just that big, white, floating head man. Freaked the fuck out of me as a kid.

As an adult, I find Doc Gerbil's world to be the scariest, though.

You know..their should be a game at the end where you can go the long way around to get to the boss...or their a easy, hardly no enemies way but the catch is it plays that...for 5 minutes straight.

I don't think anyone could make it.

... I liked the king Ramses episode. I thought it was funny, though put that down to me being a weird child. I could never be terrified when I'm doubled over from that song.
That and "Oh, come on~" said in the most disappointed way.

My vote would probably go to that damn weremole episode. Lots of jumpscares and lots of sharp, sharp teeth on display.

If not, I'd vote for the Harvest Moon episode. That was the ONLY time a monster from media appeared in my nightmares. Through out most of my childhood.

Nowadays though, I find the show uproariously hilarious than scary
