Yeah, he had a nasty tendency to pop out of nowhere and send me into panic mode. The first time I saw him, I was watching my brother play. It took us a while to figure out he was invincible and just there to make the hedge maze a LOT more stressful. That was sort of unexpected, since Castlevania as a series normally isn't about scary or high-tension moments.
