Don Flamenco from Mike Tyson's Punch Out.

I'd never want to get into a fist fight with a guy that has a grin like that and wears underwear with dickholes in them.

The Redeads from Zelda OoT. Those things that would freeze you and slowly creep towards you, and once they reach you they start raping your face? Those are scary.
Man, those used to scare the shit out of me too. I used to get my mum to get the Sun's Song for me. >.>

Once I got it, it was alright. Froze those bastards good.

The first time I played Resident Evil I was on the edge of my seat---sudden quick movements tend to startle me and get my heart rate up, and the game is blessed with them.

Of course, nowadays that's old hat but in 1997 it was revolutionary.

Oh wait!

I forgot the Chainsaw Man in the hedge maze in Castlevania 64. And his hounds.

For ages, whenever I heard a chainsaw sound effect.. Man. Bricks would be shat.

Those fast Zombies in Half-Life 2. The first time I heard them sreaming in Ravenholm I nearly crapped myself.

Other than that just choose something out of Doom 3. That game has THE best atmosphere in any game.

Yeah, he had a nasty tendency to pop out of nowhere and send me into panic mode. The first time I saw him, I was watching my brother play. It took us a while to figure out he was invincible and just there to make the hedge maze a LOT more stressful. That was sort of unexpected, since Castlevania as a series normally isn't about scary or high-tension moments. It was definitely a refreshing change of pace though.

ReDeads, skeletons and the first boss in zelda: ocarina of time...

yeah, I was eight and those were really, really scary at that time. I remember first time I reached the first boss I was terrified and threw the controller to my dad and ran out of the room :p

I'm not afraid anymore, but it still stings a bit when I encounter them :p

That's a close second for me but the scariest enemy I've ever had to face in a game was Adolf Hilter (in a robot suit) at the end of Wolfenstein 3D.

I'm gunna sound like a broken record here, but Alma, From FEAR, when you climb up a ladder and she comes crawling at you from a vent on the other side of the ladder, I swear, I almost fell of my chair in fright. I made a habit of playing FEAR from 10pm-1am in the dark because of how much I loved the creepiness in that game.

And I hated pretty much all the monsters in DOOM, when my dad played it. I would watch over his shoulder, and still be freaked out.

And I Will admit, I have yet to see the freakiness that is Pyramid Head, unless you count the movie haha

I'd have to go with those mental asylum patients in Painkiller.

In straight jackets, getting electro-shock therapy to the temples and screaming through the gag in their mouths...

Actually, a lot of the enemies in that game were creepy as hell (particularly the asylum level). The ripped in half zombies that threw themselves at you were just as creeptastic.

The regenerators in resident evil 4 that can only be killed by shooting the parasite with the Thermal scope on the rifle. I want too scream when I hear them, especially when I cant find the damn things. The spiked ones aren't as scary because they impale you then you run around and shoot them, where as the regular ones bite you and snarl all the time. Especially when you shoot off their legs and arms and they crawl, jump and cling too you.

And those damn fast zombies in half-life that climb up poles and scream while they hit you.
