Secret gaming confessions

O god

My 2 good friends and I have a collective gamerscore of over 100k, although I am the weakest contributor to that number.
I bought COD3 instead of GoW when they both came out, and when I finally got GoW I traded it in after a month, bought it again, then traded it in after another month.
I am disturbingly good at every videogame I play. I was top 100 in dirt, was top 100 in CoD4 for ratio, was top 100 in Fifa 08 as well. I don't spend too much time playing them either, so I don't get it.
I loved halo and halo 2 to death, I think I played through their campaigns 30 times total. I can't stand Halo 3, I refuse to finish it. Even the multiplayer is rubbish.
I've scored over 1000 points in a battlefield match.
I maxed out a spy in anarchy online.
I was top 100 in TF2 for the sniper kit. (I say these because I'm ashamed, i'm not bragging)
My pants got shorter watching the sex scene from mass Effect
I think I restarted Baldurs gate 10 times, without getting further than level 3. Same with morrowind and icewind dale.
Fable is one of my favorite games ever. It's playing on my 360 right now.
Final Fantasy sucks, all of them
I cried at the end of the Darkness (That was a really well done game goddamnit)
When I first played Resident Evil: Director's cut, I had to turn off my PS and sit in a corner after the dogs come out in the hallway. I was that terrified.
I never beat NWN, but I happily call it one of my favorite games of all time.

O yeah, I'll add I had a girlfriend until she decided she'd rather date her cousin.

My confession...
I created a virtual machine and installed Windows 95 on it just so I can play Carmageddon and my original Red Alert on my Vista 64 system (I'm not buying the decades pack when I already own all the games)
I loved The Incredible Toon Machine
I still have my NES and play it all the time
roughly 30 of the 40 NES game cartridges I have DON'T work anymore
Still think Sonic and Knuckels was one of the most innovative concepts for game design EVER (I mean cummon put any other Genisis game cartridge into it and get a secret world thats MAGIC!!!)
Have over 30 working Genisis games
Never played a SegaCD, Dreamcast, PS2, PSP, game ever, and dont inted on ever doing so.
Have never played a MMORPG but do enjoy RPGS
Once played Morrowind for 28hrs straight...
Thought Bioshock was not as good as Systemshock

I better stop now...

I could go on...

But no...

i've never finished OoT but count it as my faveorite game evar!
i tried to get addicted to WoW, guild wars and EVE online, but found all of them painfully dull.
i borrowed GTA IV from a friend, played for half an hour, got so bored i went and played earthworm jim (2nd best game evar!) on my SNES!
and finally...
i played my first metroid game not long ago, purely because i heard about the zero suit, and fell in love with the series!!!

I have four RPG books that I've never used. And more than once I have read them till dawn instead of sleeping.

I have a 100+ card Magic deck that's just collecting dust. Most of it based on slivers.

I can't help but watch my little brother play Pokemon.

I've got this huge pile of stuff I'm planning to send in to KODT (a tabletop gaming mag, for those who don't know) sometime. Most of it truly bizarre traps.

The last time I've been able to play a computer game that wasn't Minesweeper or Solitare was five years ago (d**n Vista).

Only about 25% of my roleplaying characters match my own gender and orientation (mostly straight).

I'm designing a game that Hotaru from .hack/Twilight would actually be good at.

OH! i just remembered, i've clocked 600 hours on pokemon ruby, and at least 250 on all the others! also, with pokemon gold, i raised myself a lv100 pigeot, that i loved as much as a man can love a black and white sprite, then traded over some lv100 from pokemon blue that i got using the missigno glitch, i turned on my GBA the other day, and the save file had been corrupted... i cried!

You know what my confession is? I DO like Halo 3. Seriously, what's with all the people posting 'Oh, I don't like Halo 3, this is some kind of revelation, I must post it!'?

I am the creator of ts_volcano, and the milly_n reskin of Milly the Catgirl for The Specialists HL1 mod.

People who discovered the easter egg in ts_volcano and saw the catgirl models there will realise why this constitutes a confession.

I also spend so much time on Oblivion that I've run out of things to do, and have to invent them.

Things like this:

NOTHING to be ashamed of. There are many people who like it. The only reason the haters are so loud, is because of the game's financial success. Same with GTA IV.

My secret gaming confession is that I've created a Nazi colour scheme (grey & red, complete with Swastika flags & banners) for every army in Warhammer Dawn of War.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fascist or racist or anti-Semite, nor do I condone what the Nazi's did, bit I've realised that nothing inspires such a sense of oppressive awe, dread & "bad ass evilness" than an army decked out like Nazis.

Honestly when I'm playing against the CPU in a skirmish & they roll towards me in grey Predators or Gravtanks or Dreadnoughts ect. adorn with Swastika's, it just escalates the importance & magnitude of the battle, & capturing strategic points, seeing the swastika being lowered & replaced with my flag just seems like more of a victory (+1 for the good guys).

It's also worth pointing out that I've made lots of other army schemes too, like the U.N., UK, SAS, Israel, McDonalds etc. Basically I downloaded lots of flags & banners for Dawn of War & have made an army scheme for almost every one.
Also I haven't yet set up a skirmish with & Nazi scheme army vs. an Isreal/Star of David scheme army, I'd feel like a shit if the Nazi scheme army annihilated the Israel scheme army & it's seems like too much bad taste, even in the 41st century.

I once watched an entire walkthrough of Abe's Oddysee on youtube so that I could go back and save every Mudokon myself.

Despite knowing exactly what's going to happen, and it being piss easy, I'm still scared of The Medical Level of Bioshock.

To this day I still play and enjoy the original Worms game.

I have bought Oblivion no less than 4 times (two for 360 - first got lost, and normal version for PC, and GOTY edition), but have never really gotten into it (highest level character ever was about 20, in fact i've never actually gone to the shivering isles)

I once trained a Poliwrath to level 100 on Pokemon Blue by repeatedly fighting the Elite Four with him.

I bought Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360, for some reason I thought it might actually be good.

I have 4 level 70s on world of warcraft, not one of them has ever finished Karazhan.

I've never played Counterstrike.
I played Halo, thought it sucked, it's multiplayer sucked and have no interest in 2 or 3.
I paid $169 + tax for Rock Band and played it for a week and haven't touched it since.
I hated FF8, FF9, FFX but loved FF12. Go figure.
I haven't played a Zelda game since the original NES version.
I actually think Super Mario Kart for the SNES was the best version ever. (I've played every one)
I pre-ordered the original collectors edition of WoW, got to level 60 in 6 months and quit. Never looked back.
I've paid for premium items in free MMORPGs.

The one big trend I have: I waste a helluva lot of money on games that I barely play.
