Wait wait wait.

Did you just say that a crappy game that is crappy for a multitude of reasons not being put on Nintendo's console because the publisher realizes that it won't sell because it can't pull the same dirty tricks that it did before launch to inflate sales is somehow Nintendo's fault?

What if it had been the PS3 or the 360 that this was occurring to. Would you blame Sony or Microsoft for it?

:looks up post history: Nope, you just have a hate on for Nintendo.
[HEADING=1]SEGA never cared to port to the WII U[/HEADING]
If SEGA had any intention, then they would have assured the media and us that this port was going to take months, and so that they could rework all of the obvious deficiencies plaguing the other platforms. After all, the game really suffered from bad textures and unfinished combat mechanics [http://www.forbes.com/sites/carolpinchefsky/2013/03/19/aliens-colonial-marines-to-get-4gb-patch/]. Mistakes can be fixed, and especially on a separate launch for a different console.

But they didn't. Why? Because they know that the Wii U console has no future in sales this year, or next year, or the year after that. SEGA has to project the future; and the WII U is the not the future -- i.e profit.

And snip again because using header sizing does not help your argument
Nope, not buying it because you have no proof of it. This was a game that was licensed, then sub-licensed, then sub-sub-licensed. It was then horribly butchered as a result. All involved parties knew it, prevented people from reporting just how bad it was until all pre-orders were done, then proceeded to blame each other over it. It took a court order in Europe for SEGA to even admit it it.

To get the game up to par would require a near rebuild which essentially scrapping the game. Even the patch they released (which was a fairly large patch at it was) only dealt with aesthetics. But according to you, the only reason they decided not to port was because according to you the WiiU is doing "horribly" and you can psychically tell that it will never improve despite it's numbers are on par to the PS3.

I don't understand what you're talking about? Bad games are always being ported to the PC, such as... Aliens: Colonial Marines! If the publisher believes that they can make money, or bet on the future, then they will do it.

But this beckons to a larger problem: third party promises getting bucked because of Nintendo's decisions. They hastily threw out their hardware to appease investors and stockholders, and who were nervous about the Wii's declining sales figures. This lack of forecast in technology demands repercussions in the economic world.

This earlier post puts a PERIOD on your last statement -- that is, if you were talking about the similarities between the slow launches of both consoles.
