"I've been talking to the employees about how we should start putting serious consideration into quality from this point on."
I can't think of a more disgusting comment than what this sentiment encapsulates.

"Hey guys... I keep hearing about this quality thing. Should we... should we be looking into what that's about or what?"
I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw that quote and had my jaw drop.

HAHAHA, "If we can make a product with proper quality..."

I... kinda hate Sega now. I didn't before this thread, I was indifferent. But what assholes? They know they're not putting out a quality product and it's only just now occurring to them that a good product may sell better than the shit they've been pumping out?

Wow. Someone needs to go back to business school. Step one on the flow chart is "Have a product or service people want to buy".

I just... can't believe this insight into their business strategy. That it's literally, "Hey, what if we made a good game?" That's ridiculous. Sega deserves to be where they are and now I have to go through life repressing the urge to find their corporate board and punching them in the balls to reduce their inbred continuance in society if this is honestly the first time they've seriously considered making product worth buying...
I think you should reserve your hatred for Sega until they release another crappy game. If they get their act together, turn around and actually make a good game, that should be commended.

But then again, I've never been screwed over by buying its games.
Oh, I don't want to punch them in the balls because I hate them. I want to punch them there because they're so terribly dumb. See, if stupidity was a race then I'd be racist.

It doesn't really matter what they do next. This corporate board has known that they've been producing garbage and have only just now begun to wonder, "Hey, what if we don't piss in the water we sell?" What idiots.

I'm not a fan of Sega but I'm not sure if that's the case... The dude is some 70 something year old corporate suit. What would he know about videogames? and what would he know about making good videogames? At least he's admitting to something instead of Konami counterpart.

Idiots? I agree.
Malicious "piss in bottled water to sell" idiots? I'm not so sure.
Maybe I'm getting older and the cynic in me is dying a bit.

Sega, by now the only thing that can earn my forgiveness is porting Bayonetta 2 to real platforms, but we all know that ain't going to happen.
As much as I'd love this to happen, it's out of Sega's hand because Nintendo was the one who published Bayonetta 2.
Sega doesn't have control over that one, and it's extremely unlikely that Nintendo will allow Bayonetta 2 to be ported to other consoles.

Well that would be because its completely out of their control as Bayonetta 2 was published by Nintendo and not Sega, you might as well blame Sega for Halo not being on the playstation.

Also how is the Wii U not a "real console"?

At the moment is probably got the best games out there with Bayonetta 2, Wind Waker, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Zombie U, Super Smash Bros, Highrule Warriors and Monster Hunter.
They still own the IP, so presumably they own at least some rights to the game as well.

How? Well, it's weak, has no good first party games, horrible support from third party publishers and is at death's door what's with an actual 8th Gen Nintendo console around the corner. Bayonetta 2 is, in my opinion, the only game it's got going for it.
I will grant you it's weak (still better at 1080p 60fps judging by the games though) but it has no good first party games? The Wiiu's first party line up literally poops all over the Xbone and PS4's first party line up. So yes a weaker console performing better and having a much stronger lineup than the two stronger consoles. It might be selling less but this is a console generation based on hype not actually on good games. Sadly.
Sincerely
A PC gamer.
If by "poops" you mean it's shit, then yeah, it sure is.
I never considered Nintendo franchises to be sacred cows - quite the opposite. So to me Wii U has no redeeming features.
You can like or dislike them, that's all your own choice. But tell me what game that is exclusive to the ps4/xbone that isnt a remake or remaster from the last gen am i supposed to look at and go:" wow that is a real quality game" I remember the order 1886,knack which both bombed and i can't remember any for the Xbone. so feel free to enlighten me.
Infamous: Second Son and the addon, Bloodborne, Guilty Gear Xrd (okay, the last one is semi-cheating, it's PS3/PS4). Now tell me what third-party company still supports Wii U with AAA releases.
As far as i can remember only sega but to be fair I was talking about first party games like you were earlier. Bloodborne nor GG Xrd are first party. I feel like i didnt make that clear though so i will consider that my fault. Infamous is a valid game. But like I said I am a PC gamer. This generation just comes of as weak PCs with nothing interesting going for them. Nintendo makes quality games I don't have an instant equivelant/answer for. Sony nor Microsoft has anything that makes me do so. It's why I don't own either of the two. Most third party games are multi platform and are also playable for me on PC. Leaving me with very little reason to buy a console that has mostly very little or poor exclusives to work with.

I hear and see the words, but I neither hear nor see any signs of sincere apologies from any of them. It's all to exploit the most amnesiac demographic ever.
