I was shopping late one night, my first foolish move. That would soon become apparant.
I needed a new bed, I didn't trust bunk beds anymore... I walked through the sliding door to the Homesense and began my trek to the bedroom section.
It was not much later that I heard the announcement for a sale of King sized mattresses at the back of the store. Listening to that announcement, my second foolish move.
At the back of the store, a worker caught my attention, telling me that they were loading the mattresses into the store out back, and to follow him. I thought I recognized the worker, but I pushed that thought out of my mind. I just wanted to get the bed and get home, risking death as little as possible.
Arriving at the back lot of the store, I noticed that there was no truck...and no mattresses.
There was only one man. It was that instant that I knew I wouldn't be alive in the next
2-10 minutes, judging by how long the killer would torture me.
There were no exits near enough to escape in time, so I just braced myself.
"Oh, I guess they're not here with the mattresses yet, sorry." the man said.
Confused, I hesitantly made my way to the exit. "Must be my lucky day." I thought to myself.
I turned the corner and was met by a gun to the face.
*BANG*
