Well I was wrong it seems... Also I am dead...
Anyway, things worked out pretty well, everything taken into consideration.
We now know the list of the possible killers, and unless Ynnek gave us a fake list, or you guys begin voting for people outside of it, the Killer cannot win.

So in the end, I am sorry for lynching you Ynnek, but it sure helped a lot. If there was a possibility that we would not earn from it in the end, I would have handled things differently.

You can't just declare yourself dead. You have to get the PM. And as far as I see it, our GM hasn't posted that the next victim has been chosen.

So Ynnek was the spy, Well then I have no idea whats going on at the moment since the person I thought was the spy is not the spy. My god are things confusing this round >.>

I wasn't serious, I was referencing to the possible surge of lynch-related hate that might be coming in my direction.
Judging by the number of "If you are wrong, ye are going to lynch you" posts, I might actually be lynched, even though I am not on the list.
The comment was more for fun than anything else.

@Steke: Ah. Just making sure... though it is generally unwise to do things like that and say you're joking.

@CounterAttack I think he's stating his social status as far as this round is going, as well as what he believes to be the inevitable "revenge" for getting the spy killed.

@Stek Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm pretty sure that we've got more important things to do now than lynch someone who cried wolf. Maybe the killer will take you up on your offer, but I wouldn't count on it.

Welp. This just keeps getting more intriguing.

@Jack Well almost, I were indeed referring to my social status, and what I have been willing to take to bring the Killer down. I won't be trusted in a while. But I believe the "hate" (though that is not a fitting word either) is going to die off soon.

It was really just a joking response to the general response I got to all of this. I really don't think I will be lynched, for that would be most irrational.
Even though you could get away with it and still get the killer, but forget that I wrote that.

No of the Killer gets me, that is a completely different matter.

@Stek

That's what I was getting at: since (as far as we know) that you're not involved with Ynnek's list, then it's better to concentrate on the people in that list than simple revenge.

Joking's a bit tough to do on the internet, considering that text doesn't convey tone very well. Some people will get it, others won't. 50/50 chance.

@Steke: It could be anyone. Who's to say that they aren't online right now, through means that aren't the Escapist?

For the record, I don't think it's Link, he's been gunning for my death post, and if he really wanted me to write one and was the killer, he would have killed me on one of these 3 rounds.

@CA Well that might be true, but counting how the Killer and the DM should communicate through PMs, I find it unlikely.
Actually, this is something we should ask the DM about, seeing how it's actually just like asking for the rules.

1. Does Killer-DM communication have to happen in PMs?
2. Can the Killer send a PM with two names, and instruct the DM that the other person the second target? That would make it possible to kill while not being online.

@Steke: For the record, it's GM, for Gamesmaster. We aren't exactly in a dungeon.

1) No, communication can happen any way the GM and the killer see fit. The same can be said of the Spy, Medic, Arbiter and anyone else when sending in their votes.
2) I don't understand this.

@CA I know, it's just an old habit.

Well, if the first is true, there is no reason to worry about the second.
If they can contact each other over e-mail or similar, there is no need for a work-around like question two.

And one last thing:
I know that you don't exactly like what I have done this round, and I appreciate the criticism, it's part of what makes us learn. How to function and behave in different societies.
But please, I can clearly see the underlying "aggression" (I am not sure what word to use) that you don't even try to hide.

So please, think about this:
1. If you want to argue with me, and come with your opinions, it would be more constructive and practical for both of us to do it publicly. These small stabs are leading nowhere.

2. If you aren't ready to do that, then you have nothing to say. I would appreciate some sort of openness about you views. Getting this in public is ok, but holding a onesided argument is only harmful to the situation at hand, and the other party (me).

I have nothing against you, and would gladly discuss your views.
