I sat on the black couch in my living room, contemplating the situation. They were coming for me, I knew, and within the hour.
"You weren't inconspicuous enough, that's for sure" I laughed quietly to myself, shaking my head. Picking up the magnum in my lap, I flicked off the safety.
"Certainly had a good run, didn't I - took plenty of those idiots down before they figured it out..." trailing off, I glanced at the clock. Not much time left, not much at all. Soon they would come bursting through that door, hoods on, ready to dispense their "justice".
Well at least I'll leave one more victim behind - the upholstery. I thought ruefully, pressing the gun to my head. Why I did it even I did not know - boredom, perhaps? Why was anyone here other than to have fun? And it was most certainly fun, taking the fools out one by one, then watching them falsely accuse and then help them collectively murder complete innocents. My only regret was that I was caught before I could wreak even more havoc.
A knock came at the door.
"Lothae! We know you're in there! You can't escape us! If you want to go easily, open the door now!" I heard Rand00m call. The noise grew louder and louder, the door splintering under their assault.
Well, better get it over with. Smiling at the door with my eyes wide open, I pulled the trigger as it flew off its hinges. Death came as swiftly as the speeding bullet.
