I just started playing it again because my roomate started reminiscing about, luckily i still had my hard copy with me and only needed to download the multiplayer patch since there the official servers are no longer up for it.

Still the games a friggin blast like always.

Pardus Online.

2D browser based space trade/combat MMO. Its been going for some 5 years and has a lot of depth to it, the economies are run almost exclusively by the players, Factions are run almost entirely by the players and it all works!
