Do you know what that is from?
The art is from Dungeon Meshi aka Delicious in Dungeon.

It's mildly spoilery, but it's also from a couple years ago, so.

Fantastic fantasy story. Starting premise is that the group gets emergency teleported out of a dungeon as they're losing to a dragon, with the dragon eating the member that telephoned them out. They have to mount a rescue to get their friend's corpse out the dragon before its fully digested if they want to resurrect them. Which means they have to tackle the dungeon while low on supplies, which means "living off the land" so to speak.

By the time that sequence shows up, shit has well and truly gone off the rails (in a great way). It's absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough regardless of the normal type of story you like.

Twitter thread, starting from the top.

To all the "I don't watch sports" people:
Moments like this are priceless, and to imagine the collective awe at hole 16 in Arizona in that moment... how can you NOT like sports?!? Sam Ryder isn't even in the running to win, but the crowd coalesced behind this exceptional stroke to celebrate what he'd done.

Sports are the great equalizer. They bring people of every stripe together under a united banner of excellence. If you've never met a stranger that becomes a fast friend because you root for the same team, it's a unique experience.

I think I've shared this before, but I can never watch it without laughing.

The thing I like about The L.A. Beast is that his channel, even after gaining a not insignificant following (2.7M followers,) his format hasn't changed in his 12 years of activity. Yeah, he's got some merch, and I think a Patreon or something similar, but he hasn't gone so commercial as to shove it down your throat. He's still that same, loveable idiot with low production values reminiscent of early YouTube days that puts himself through hell for the lols. I know, this isn't exactly the kind of content that one can consume in large quantities at once, but every time a new video of his pops up, I gotta click on it, and it's not infrequent that I find myself perusing his older stuff as well.

Think "Jackass," but less extremely stupid, and more self aware. Dumb fun without roots in MTV culture.

Got through boarding high school washing dishes, etc.. One day, I was handed a pan still 1/2 full of mashed potatoes. I went to scoop them out with my hand only to realize they were still hot lava and stuck to my hand. I screamed, went to wash the taters off with a spray nozzle... the water that came out was also burning hot. I screamed again. The dean's wife was passing by a window through which you passed ones dirty dishes. She thought me over reacting and mocked me screaming in my direction. So, yeah. Your video reminds me of that.
