For some fun, share those random thoughts and questions that just pop into your head as you?re standing in the shower and your mind wanders to leave your body to its manual and intimate task of scrubbing away the filth and sin from itself. Who knows? Maybe someone here will weigh in with some rationality ibefore you invest your life savings into building that better mouse trap. Here?s mine for today:

How do super heroes who can fly and are unnaturally strong stay in such superior physical shape? As far as I?m aware, building muscle requires resistance and a constant focus on exceeding personal limits; what is Superman lifting and on how rigorous a workout schedule if his signature abilities are flight and beyond superhuman strength? Wouldn?t he need to bench like a small mountain about 4 times a week for pecs like that? What benefit would a set of push-ups have if the defiance of gravity is basically what his body does? And for comparison?s sake, the strongest normal people in the world can?t throw the most weight they can lift the length of a football field, so if the Hulk can throw a multi-ton bus, I?m guessing it?s not quite anywhere near the upper limits of his strength. I?m just saying, the Marvel and DC universes should be rife with dad bods and saggy boobs unless they frequent a gym near a black hole or something.

If you know even a tiny bit about something, you probably know more about that thing than most people in the world.

"Once I'm out of the shower I'm going to start work on a fun little browser game I have been thinking of for months now... 😁"

The moment I actually get out of the shower; I'm tired, don't have the energy to start any new projects... 😶

That rings true for everyone, including the ones for whom their ?tiny bit? is infinitesimally tinier than they?re wiling to admit to themselves least of all anyone else.

I?ve personally zipped up my smart phone in a zip-lock bag and taken it in the shower with full functionality and without issue. Cheap, easy, effective and, most importantly, entirely at your own risk.

If Luck isn't real, but stats and probability are... isn't there a statistical probability that there's one person who always misses the percent threshold of success?

That's a random allotment in life. Other than the complete dismissal of anything not science based in the current societal consciousness, isn't that the definition of bad luck?

I EXPLAINED this. EXPLAINED IT.

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet [https://www.amazon.com/Xperia-Tablet-10-1-Inch-Factory-Unlocked/dp/B00YR1RDH6]

You will listen this time!

But for serious, I've said before that I don't recommend it. I literally only use it for the bathroom. It's slowed way the hell down. It freezes sometimes just to freeze. I hit google and I wait like five seconds for it to actually load sometimes.

How did the Statue of Liberty get onto that beach at the end of Planet of the Apes? Did the sea recede enough for there to a straight shot to what was once Liberty Island? Did it get moved by the apes and eventually abandoned? These questions keep me awake at night...

So, just recently rewatched Captain Marvel. Not a major spoiler but... I got a burned last time with insignifact spoilers

Was Goose sticking around the base for 6 years? Just waiting for someone to show up? Why did it stick with Vers, when they clearly don't remember Goose. It shows it does like Fury later on. Why wouldn't Goose go somewhere else?

Also, can we have a Goose cartoon adventure across the world while waiting for Vers.

Since I'm already in spoilers...
This part had been covered by others with no good answer: And none of this explains the Nick Furying at the end. What was it doing wrong then? Where did it go after coughing up the stones.

Alright, mister creepy invasive data collector...I'll share my most intimate naked musings, if only because the level of vulnerability required is no different from socialising with nasty invasive humans any other day. But be warned, they might be a heady mixture of disturbing mundanity and deathly boredom.

# Shit, why are you ringing now with these chronically moist limbs and a towel conveniently out of reach??

# If I got a turtle, would it be weird if I showered or bathed with it?

# Is it ok to be a hypocrite if you hate yourself?

# Nitrogen gas should be cheaper.

# Does living in an area with heavy limescaled water compensate for any absence of calcium in your diet?

# If I were to be stabbed here, there isn't much room to get comfortable for the bleeding out.

# Ow, what the fuck, you fucking idiot! (Slipped over in shower, lost in thought)

# If one could actually freeze time apart from themselves, would all light just stop? Making you blind unless you move your eyes into fresh, floaty frozen photons? Would gravity stop? The air...what about the air?!

# *sings mournful tune*

# *sings upbeat tune*

# *sings horrid tune that should have no reason to be stuck in head*

# That is a brilliant thought! I must write it down after shower and definitely not forget it beforehand like the last 1000 times.

# Was that meowing or yet more brain noise?

# Wait...what was that idea again?

# Must remember not to post personal thoughts online anymore. They're closing in, can feel it. Tracking your every move.

# Everyone will abandon you.

# No they won't! I have a dungeon now. And a fancy selection of mini cakes.

# Alright, getting bored of this. Should probably also stop posting online while in the shower to be fair.

How did the inheritance issue get resolved for the returned 3 billion people in the aftermath of Avengers:Endgame?

I'd probably be pretty pissed if I came back from the dead to find my beneficiary had taken my RSP & pension payout, remarried and used the funds on a down payment.

That's just Superman's out of shape body. Superman needs to be careful not to actually ever work out or else he would become such a mass of horrendously deformed bulging muscles that would make the most roided out body builder look like they don't even lift.

It was probably thrown there by the bombs when they blew it up. The maniacs.

Off topic, but now that Overwatch will be on Switch, if Lucio were to get a skin based on a Nintendo character, what character would you want it to be based on? Luigi or Yoshi because of green? Maybe a Rhythm Heaven character because music?

That's cheating, you supposed to make your own

I also realised I was just nitpicking before so...

We live at the bottom of the ocean. So... Is space counted as an ocean, that's on top of the ocean of air, that's on top of the ocean of water? Which pretty much makes the ground another ocean, one that we can't move through

If big business paid their share of tax, the tax rate would go down (the government has a set amount of money they looking for. If they paid, the rate would be so high.) If they paid thier workers well, the tax rate would go down (reduction in the need for welfare.) If they spent money to make sure their product was safe for consumption, the tax rate would go down (less need for regulation.) If they stopped dodging tax, the tax rate would go down (less need to chase them down, so IRS would be smaller, as would courts and law enforcement.) Do they realise they are making the government bigger? The money they spent trying to dodge tax would be enough to pay their tax. And they'd keep the saved money anyway.
