Shigeru Miyamoto Doesn't Make Kiddy Games

I agree. The Mario games can be quite challenging, especially if you aim for 100% and don't use a walkthrough. They're kid friendly, they're not exclusively kiddy games. Still, I would like to see a new Kirby game or something. Or Starfox. Actually whatever happened with that "Zequel?" I haven't heard anything about it for ages.

Anyone who says that Mario is a kid's game clearly has never seen actual children's shows. There's a fine line (or a big difference if you aren't being cynical) between "all ages" and "for kids". Disney movies are for all ages. Disney Channel is for kids (or at best, sometimes for teenagers).

Every time I see quote from Miyamoto, it makes me smile. The man is greatest toymaker in history.

THEY AREN'T TOYS, THEY ARE PRODUCTS AAAARRRRGH ASDHASDJASHDJAS, etc etc.

Also i always figured it wasn't for kids anyway, what with a mass murdering italian plumber "rescuing" a princess, all in the name of "love".

Ummm, toys are products. Video games are both.
