I'm not attracted to women, but I think they look good with short hair, generally. If their face isn't shaped for it, though, it tends to look strange. I find the same is true for all hairstyles, for both men and women. The face has a lot to do with whether a hairstyle looks good.

I struggle with posting pictures in posts (help plz?), otherwise I'd show you my own multicoloured pixie cut.
Right click the picture you want to link, "copy image url", paste it in a post and put it in ["img"][/"img"] (without the quotes) tags. If your problem is with hosting, I suggest uploading it to photobucket or putting it in a public dropbox folder.
You're an angel. Thank you!

Anyways, here's my short hair cut.

I'll link another, because even though you can't see the colours in this one, you can see the haircut better.

I have a lot of repect for a woman who cuts her hair short for practical purposes, even if it might look less attractive or doesn't suit her face. Someone who values practicality is far more attractive to me than a vain person who grows their hair long and spends an hour looking after it in the shower, just because they think it looks better.

Of course I myself am both a hypocrite and a coward, so even though I would love to have short hair I feel it would only accentuate how fucking hideous my face is.

I'm a guy and I used to have long, shaggy hair. Then I went to college and decided I wanted a new look so I got it buzzed. I LOVE IT! I have never ever wanted to do anything else with it ever since due to the ease of care and how much better it makes me look.
As far as my opinion on the length of girls hair, if it goes beyond the small of their back I tend to frown on it. I just dont like it. I prefer shoulder length at the longest. Some girls can pull off shorter hair, but not many.

While I was at university, I grew my hair out most of the way down my back. (Think like a really scruffy mermaid.) But earlier this year, I finally got fed up with it. One Saturday morning I marched to the nearest hairdressers and got it cut to just below my ears. That haircut changed my life.

Seriously, it takes me about a quarter of the time it used to for me to shower in the morning. My hair doesn't need brushing several times a day any more. I don't get strangled when I put on a jumper! :D

It has since grown out a little bit more again, which has got me wondering about my next haircut. How short could I go this time without it looking weird? Can any woman pull off a short "pixie cut" or is it just a privileged few?

And what do you guys think about very short hairstyles on women in general?
No not every woman can pull off the short hair and still look good or as good. Same with guys tho.

Some people look better in long hair, some people look better in short and some can do the long and the short and still look good, while others look mediocre no matter what they do.

Everyone's different. I personally think I look better in long hair, but I've heard the opposite so.......

I think short hair looks... okay on women. I prefer long hair though, I have no idea why, that's just what I like. Not to say that I think women with short hair can't be attractive, they can be very attractive I just prefer ones with long hair.

i kinda like short hair on a woman.

for example i always though Angelina Jolie was at her sexiest in hackers.
I honestly don't think she does short hair well, she looks way better in long IMO.

It depends on the person and style of haircut. My girlfriend had a pixie cut for a while and it looked good on her.

Well tbh I think it doesn't matter.
Helle Barry looked good with a pixie cut, a bob cut or long hair. She also managed to look unflattering with exactly the same.
I mean in the end it is highly individual. A mix made out of eye, skin and hair colour, facial structure and haircut. Heck I guess the clothes and physique matter as well.

For arguments sake I would pick a classic bob cut with a-line ending at the jaw-line...

Why the fuck am I writing about hairstyles?

If you don't try you won't know if you it suits you. I believe the person makes the style suit them if they like it. Have your hair like that for long enough and people will only be able to picture you with that style and it will suit you then.

Most of the time short hair looks quite attractive on women. It's a lot more practical, too.

CAPTCHA: It's super delicious!

Quite.

It's kind of funny. When I had short hair, I loved girls with down-to-the-butt long hair. Now that I grew my hair out, I'm liking Chie (Persona 4) looking girls. Go figure.

depends on how short is "short", as long as it's below the ears in length i think SOME girls can pull it off, otherwise it starts to look not very attractive (to me at least)

i prefer below ear length and not too long past the shoulder for maximum

obviously this defers person to person, but probably a general rule of thumb to go by.

It depends on the person, but in 99% of cases, I think women look better with at least like chin length hair. Men's and women's short hair styles really are different, and men's are typically better suited to shorter hair. For example,

On the other hand, most of the guys I know with legitimately long hair end up with really nasty ponytails. Both sides do well in the middle though. And either way, it's your damn hair. Don't listen to me about it.

The majority of the women I know and see manage to pull it of, but I'm sure its not for everyone. Also, I can't speak for every male out there, but I. Fucking. Love it.
My god. It's a weakness, it really is. I lose all train of thought once I see someone like this walk past.

She could be wearing a hessian sack for all I care. And now I have to take a cold shower.

i think it depends on the haircut. some are very nice looking, some are too short or just strange looking. basically you gotta make sure the person cutting your hair is going to do a nice job and you gotta pick out a style that will look nice. (if you care about that at all that is)
