I for one, loved it! It is without a doubt my favorite game of '08, of course if you wan't the desired effect, play it alone at midnight, with all the lights off, surround sound blasting, other than that, it isn't very scary, it also helps if you're playing on impossible, the enemies drain 1 bar of health every hit, it genuinly gets scary, aside from that, good story (its original, if you care for backstory, movie, G.novel...i found it original anyway) decent graphics and really fun to play, it gets my seal of approval, which holds absolutley NO weight as of yet unfortunately

The character's movement is slow but it is fun. I'd recommend it.

One of my friends told me not to get it because i guess there is this one enemy, he said it was like little green blobs that get on you cand kill you within seconds, and there is no way to get them off(he said shaking around does not work), is that true? or is there a way to get them off?
I think that is the mini monsters that come when you kill certain ones. They are pretty hard to get off. Best not to create them or to shoot them from a distance.

Just RENT it. It has pretty much no replay value whatsoever. Once you finish it, you'll know exactly what to expect around every corner. Also, the game wasn't as scary as advertised.

Definite Renter!!!!

I thought it was a good game, but if I was on that team leading it, I would make that game more fucked up and scarier!

I always rent games before the buy, and trust me, it saves a lot of money. I haven't played the game myself, but from what I've heard, you should go for RE4 and RE5 instead.
