Get rid of that pile of junk and get a PS3.
And after that, Get a PC for the most fun out of gaming.

If you can afford it.
Us poor people can get a true gaming PC but at least my computer can handle Team Fortress 2 at a surprisingly good rate

Actually I've had this problem too, but I learned that you just have to think. Why did you buy your Wii in the first place? If the purchase wasn't worth it to you, then sell it. Try not to regret it in the future if you do actually sell it. Oh and by the way, The Conduit is ok, the campaign is kind of annoying because of the constant puzzles you have to do, but online is fun.

As a Nintendo loyalist for years, Nintendo has severely tested my patience with their creative direction on the Wii. The torrents of shovelware, lack of decent third and first-party titles, lacking online functionality...the list goes on. I think a lot of Nintendo loyalists have been tested this generation and are understandably upset.

That being said, I still have my Wii. Here's why:

1) The Wii provides a good contrast against the 'hardcore' gaming done on my PC
2) Virtual Console
3) Upcoming first-party titles
4) MotionPlus looks promising

I'd say hang in there, the best is yet to come.

second.

you could try a railshooter like resident evil umbrella chronicles or the new resident evil railshoother darkside chrinicles which looks like a remake of RE2. that or house of dead overkill.

So Nintendo is bad for the gaming industry because they want to bring out the gamer to the non-gamers. Makes sense to me. After all, we ahem "real" gamers were never casual when Nintendo came out with the NES. It's the same marketing strategy that they used over 15 years ago and it still works.
First of all, stop getting so worked up over what I think and brush me off as an ignorant Nintendo-hating ******.

Second, I was never a casual gamer, not that I remember. I have been playing games for as long as I can think back to. Even when it was just the NES, I would sit there and smack the thing until it worked properly, which would sometimes be a while. (And actually worked, somehow.)

And lastly, Nintendo not changing is, in itself, a change. While other companies have grown, Nintendo refuses to do anything differently. It works for them. They get tons of cash and we "gamers" don't get to see anything new and exciting from what used to be brilliant. Though, I guess I have to smack myself in the face, because they have obviously changed with the Wii, shifting their focus, it seems, from their cartoony Zelda/Mario w/e to peripherals and games for adults, who will play those games a few times, and then only get it back out every once in a blue moon.

I still don't know what your problem with my defintion of "gamer" is, but get over it. Just because you don't like what I think doesn't mean you have to call me out for it. I mean, that bears resemblance to the crusades and nazi Germany of the mid 1900s if you ask me, even if it's toned down to a pointless argument.

That's really what happened to me but I wouldn't call my self a Nintendo loyalist because we we're with Sega until they failed but any way it's too much shovelware and and lack of replayable titles or Online so that's why I got a Xbox

well if there is no games that you not really looking forwood to and no games out that you like then you should just trade it in to help you get the ps3 or failing that getting some extra games on your xbox 360. luckly for me my brothers own wii and ps3 and i own the xbox 360 so i have the best of both worlds dont really play the wii though cant be bothered with that shizz lol

I think you should keep it. What if a game comes out exclusively on the wii in the future. If you are short on cash get the 360. If you like the ps3 exclusives get it when you save up the money.

ok as a owner of all 3 systems ..i play my 360 more then the ps3 and wii combined .. i keep my wii only for 1 reason and thats the virtual console, yes i know you can get all the roms for all the old systems but i like to play them on a tv. as for the ps3 its just a blu ray player to me .. i hate buying games for the ps3 because pretty much all the games have to be installed to the hd to play which i think was a horrble thing for ps3 cause if the next playstation has that install feature im not going to buy it .. wow this just turned into a rant about ps3 .. im sorry lol so in closing keep the wii .. the ps3 isnt worth it unless theres exclusive games you want for it

I got me a PS2, a 360, and a gameboy(the brick, not any of your fancy "pocket" ones). Can I join?

As for the wii, I would say ditch it if you aren't having fun with it. Maybe sell it to your friend if he wants NMH2 so badly.
