Back when I was a kid it wasn't uncommon for kids to run around naked on hot days. 9 seems a little old but eh, I don't think there's any argument for abuse here. The parents should be cautious of who can see their kids and so forth but if the kids are comfortable I don't see the harm, at least until the onset of puberty.

Oh hell yeah it would. Really think a child molester is going to pass up a naked kid, thats like christmas coming early.

It's tricky to get the cops involved because that makes you a target and a snitch. There are people that will back off, then there are others that will wait to you leave your house. Stupid neighbor of mine one time took a baseball bat to this dudes truck because he called the cops on him.

I'm now going to take this opportunity to have a racist rant. Apologies.

I can no longer stand summer holidays in europe due to nudists, the vast majority of which, in my experience, are German. I'll take all the obnoxious American tourist stereotypes ahead of them. In particular I went on holiday to Gran Canaria with my family and suffered the annoying, and incredibly clichéd, fate of never being able to sit by the pool because some fuckwad put their towel down at like 5am and will defend it til the last.

So we decided to take a day out hiking inland with a pretty cool German tour guide (Gran Canaria is a big spot for German tourists) who took us up by all the man made lakes of the island, surrounded by astonishing sandstone cliffs, like a lush version of death valley. We finally ended the walk at a beautiful lake. I stood there, admiring the view and casually skimming stones across the surface of the lake. This was the first nice day of the holiday I'd had so far.

Next thing I know, two of the 80 year old German tourists are next to me, getting into the lake COMPLETELY naked, jiggling wildly as they make their way across the rocks at the waters edge. I'm not saying everyone needs to be ashamed of their bodies, but those two should've been at least slightly shameful of their repugnant leathery hides!

... I just ran.

I guess its just how I grew up in the US. I know some Americans have gave it their ok, but I just don't feel comfortable with a 9 year old being naked, I get little kids(2-5) being innocent and all, but I think 9 is pushing it.

I have to agree with you, nine is to old to be running around naked in public. It may even be unsafe for the children, as would be pedophiles may see this as an opportunity. Call me prudish, but I even think five is to old for this kind of thing. Don't tattle on them though, just lie and tell them you will if you see this kind of thing again.

I'm saying the difference it makes is extremely marginal when they're having to consider the fact that they're grabbing the child in broad fucking daylight (especially when all we're talking about is a swimming costume).
