Pro tip (coming from a total non-pro but who cares): shorter sketches!! The moment we get the joke, move on to the next thing. Like the red ring of death. Just having the show host do his introduction is enough, we don't need that eye-witness account, it hurts the initial joke.

Pillow Quest and the Big Bang parody were pretty funny. Overstating had potential, but you could've picked a funnier target.

Honestly, this is shaping up to be a pretty damn good show.

Yea....not really funny. I wouldn't really be commenting on this (it was that un-noteworthy),but I noticed during the Gamer Gang segment that the guy playing the ds has a white cartridge with a slit that conveniently looks like it could hold a micro sd card. If I have to be blunt he is playing with a flashcart.

A fantastic episode! Each of the episodes so far have always had an outstanding piece, a hilarious running gag and sadly one sub-par piece. This episode however kept the first two and did away with the third of these things, a brilliant episode of humour and parody.

All the parodies have probably been done before but they were well excecuted and funny nonetheless. I didn't expect the Pillow Quest to be all that humerous but the pain in my gut from consistant laughter is proof enough that my initial assumption was wrong. Great job, keep up the good work!

Anyone else think that the quality of this show visually is very sub-par in comparison to most Escapist shows?

your definitely drastically improving each episode but your camerawork and lighting aren't even all that good. "Doomsday arcade" one of the old winners looked fantastic for an amateur show, The camerawork really made some of the jokes a lot more funny than they were. Your killing some of the jokes with just lazy camerawork.

I'm still rather surprised this won, but i can see it getting better, i also agree with what a lot of people are saying, your shorter skits are far better. the red ring of death skit went on for just to long, it killed the joke.

Pillow Quest was the only thing I liked, the rest was crap. Sorry guys, you need to step up your material. Need to work on your structure and timing especially. I've noticed some of your sketches go on a little too long and overstay their welcome. Is the RRoD thing even worth joking about now?

I for one am willing to give this show a chance. Comedy can be hit and miss a lot more than people think. Some comedy groups spend years getting their shit together before they actually get stuff made and online and even then what is the use of it being good if no one watches it (www.wizardsandwiches.com). Limiting themselves to just Games narrows the scope significantly especially when you think about the wealth of web comics and established web comedians (LRR for example) that derive their comedy from a similar source. Who knows you may just stumble upon some more LBP gold.

Haters gotta Hate.

what was the joke in the gamer gang other than to rip on sitcoms for being over dramatic when that's their point, couldnt finish it because of how boring it was I've given this show several chances I'm personally done with it just like the strippers/pornstars play dnd show--not my appeal

Is it just me that noticed "Pillow Quest" looks like a blatant rip-off (or parody?) of "Good Knight's Quest"? Certainly looked like it until the pillow.

Big Bang Theory has its downsides, sure.. But there are some decent moments. Certainly better than that tripe, Two and A Half Men! D:

I, too, preferred the shorter, "Robot Chicken"-length skits from the pilot. Nothing too drawn out, especially that Red Ring skit.. Wow, that was just.. Disappoint. I'm not angry, just disappoint.

Moar LBP2 gold, plz.

LoadingReadyRun has full sketches down to an art form. Maybe Uberfriendship and LoadingReadyRun could do a collaboration project..?

"And so, Frederic P. Fluffington, that most magnificent of knights, became the greatest hero the world has ever known."
This show has me sold. Period.

I love this series. The pillow bit made my day. I also like the Red Ring skit. "They still glow among us" made me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

I don't think anyone who said the RRoD bit wasn't funny has ever seen Unsolved Mysteries, I thought it was pretty funny. The pillow quest was hilarious too. The show might not be quite as polished as some others, but I think you've got quite a lot of potential! Looking forward to next week's show!

I have seen "Unsolved Mysteries", but this wasn't even a fitting parody. The host guy was fine and all, but I could have sworn a line was screwed up in the middle there..

And the.. "Over-acting" in the black & white scenes were.. Yeah o_O Given what I said above about TBBT, that parody wasn't bad. Although I really didn't see it as a parody until.. The last line, which is disappointing for a parody. The "Sheldon" was doing the role well though!

People loved this? Really?

Personally I thought this was pretty bad, which is a shame because the pilot was really good so not sure why the sudden fall in quality.
Its called a deadline. When you have all the time in the world to come up with some really funny stuff, you get really funny episodes, but when time becomes a factor the quality of jokes tend to suffer. I still applaud these guys because the Show About Games Show will get better. There will be more episodes like this one that are funny and have some good jokes in them, and then you will get some that will maybe have one really good laugh, and others that will be downright hysterical. Condemning a show after a couple episodes is ridiculous, just let them get their bearings. I see good things in this show's future.
That's no excuse at all. LoadingReadyRun has barely any time to scratch themselves. They have merch to ship, CrapShots, ENN, Unskippable, LRR videos, Daily Drop to edit.. Hell, Graham is an editing MACHINE. Yet they still write comedy gold week after week.

A rapid fire comedy sketch show that isn't funny. Well at least it's novel... I was trying my best to laugh at this but the most amusing thing was seeing how few comments this episode provoked compared to last week. They better seriously rethink who is writing this show before it gets canned.
LRR-related again, but totally check out "RapidFire" [http://loadingreadyrun.com/videos/archive/all/date/desc?search=rapidfire] on their website.

Fast-paced sketches actually done well.

hehe the pillow quest skits had me laughing. To be honest, the RROD bit was "meh" not that funny and dragged on too long.
