Yeah I usually have other windows covering it up, like firefox, steam, or msn. And while I love the way Windows 7 handles programs on the bottom, the quick launch toolbar on XP and Vista (and previous I presume) already made the desktop obsolete in my eyes.

I'm not the world's biggest Portal Nerd or anything. In fact, I probably won't get Portal 2 till it drops in price. I just love the style of it. It's very clean and I like that on my computer.

That site is great getting awesome wallpapers. I got almost all my Gundam and alot of my Bakemonogatari wallpapers from it.
Edit: And I should mention, my taskbar is never visible anyway, nor is there anything on my desktop. Background image only.

I use both internet explorer and firefox, rarely firefox.
