Hi there, I'm sure the desktop thing has been done before, but, I think the Firefox Theme/Persona is a cool idea.

My Desktop:

My Firefox Persona

Fun Facts:
Not only is my desktop/theme Aperture Science, the .WAV file on my desktop is the radio loop from Portal.
I was searching for the 2010 Doritos Super Bowl commercial in the Google box.
I had two Escapist pages, my blog, and one Macworld page open.
I cleaned up my desktop for this post. Heh.
My bookmark bar shows that I'm learning how to use Hammer for Left 4 Dead.

You seemed to have made a double thread.

Also how do you post your desktop again?
Well, I have a blog, so I hosted the image there and took it to this post, otherwise, I'm not sure.

Although if you already have the picture on the Internet, use the {img}IMAGE URL{/img} tags. Remember to use standard brackets for the tags.

Hah, thanks man.

iTunes gets it done well enough, but, it certainly isn't perfect.

I have a Mass Effect 2 concept art...

It's some painting by this one famous guy whose name escapes me (hahaha we're on the escapist...), I got my avatar from it...

Great OS ;)

Beyond that, it's just Chrome for me.
You silly Ubuntard ;)
And proud of it! :D

Until Microsoft can sort out some of their painfully huge bugs, (I switched to Linux after Windows Explorer stopped functioning, the process completely vanished and wouldn't even appear after a restart. The BIOS said it was there, the rest of the time the computer thought otherwise. Try running windows without a core GUI manager, I dare you..) I will be using Linux.

High five! And an invisible cookie for Songbird.

The side and bottom bars are normally set to auto-hide.

*Hi-Fives!* Mmm..delicious cookie..

Glad to see another songbird user, it really is underrated. I'm surprised so few people know of it, considering it has an extension feature, which is one of the things which made Firefox so popular.

Also, which dock is that? I had a dock installed for a while but it wasn't all that great and I ended up going back to the default menu bars.

Yeah, Songbird is really good... I particularly like the lyric add-on.

The dock is just the default Kubuntu dock, and Kubuntu is basically Ubuntu with the KDE graphical environment... I've always preferred KDE over GNOME.

That was, of course, my problem. And considering even the windows recovery disc had no effect and I wasn't going to pay Microsoft for another, I just went to a very good, totally free, OS. ;)

Hmm..I shall look into it. I'm still fairly new to Linux so I haven't had a great deal of experience in the other distros yet.
