A lot of my shows actually make it past three seasons. I don't know if I'd really want Arrested Development to continue or not. The third season (especially the latter half) wasn't all that good. Or it was at least a massive drop-off from the stellar first two seasons.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

One of the best shows ever, senselessly murdered by death slot scheduling. I watched the whole thing 5 times in 2 years.
That's the one.
My God, you remember that Cromarty scene that had "When the Man Comes Around" playing over. One of the most awe-striking scenes I've ever witnessed in TV.

Another one: Better Off Ted. It reminds me of two shows that I loved: NewsRadio and Arrested Development (and it had Portia di Rossi of AD in it). It was very off-the-wall, but always hilarious. Obligatory Veridian Dynamics fake ad coming...

If you have a Netflix subscription, you should definitely do a marathon of both seasons of Better Off Ted. It's in the Watch Instantly library.

Dead Like Me, the movie was half-assed but the show was brilliant.
Reaper, it never had a chance in its time slot.

I agree with the few people who said better off Ted. Can't believe I'm the only one who misses Kyle XY. I mean I know the whole plot of him being a super person pretty much sounds a little stupid, but I still loved that show

Just looking at the title I figured almost every single person would have said was 'Firefly', which made me laugh. Less obviously I would say 'Arrested Development'. Screw the Fox Network and cancelling good shows, Family Guy has been cancelled at least once cause of them (I'm pretty sure two times).

Flash Forward, sure, it got shit by the end of the season but why end it with a cliffhanger, WHY?!

Firefly is the most obvious answer. It still had a lot of plot unexplored, with a great cast and great writing.

Dead Like Me is a show that I felt ended earlier than it should have. The final episode doesn't give quite the closure I would've wanted and the film that was put out was awful.

That's about it as TV shows go...

Avatar the Last Airbender
Teen Titans
90s Spider-man series
Wolverine and the X-men
Ouran

I really wish Rescue Me wasn't ending...
All the other live-action "adult" shows ran their course and I stopped caring in time for them to get canned.

Batman: The Animated Series - brilliant show with wonderful stories for the most part...of course they'd have to keep the more mature imagery from the early seasons.

Seinfeld - the last couple seasons were among the best in my opinion.

Deadliest Warrior - Admittedly this show is stupid, but I love the non-gun episodes.

Arrested Development - This show got worse each season, but was still strong by the end.

Firefly - This show was at best okay in my opinion. But nearly everyone I know would love this back on the air. Easily the most demanded show from people I know for reasons I don't understand.

FiiiireFlyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!
If I had the money I would pay for Joss Whedon to be kidnapped and then force him to write at least another 4 seasons. Then I would have them all produced and be happy.
Someone earlier said they were worried about a Game of Thrones. So am I, any show this good won't last long. I give it no more than 3 seasons before it's replaced by some shitty reality show.

Vampire the masquerade(damn lead actor was killed in a motorbike accident :( ).
Woah woah woah woah woah...woah...woah...IT WAS A SHOW?!
It was 15 years ago(how time flies!), called Kindred:The Embraced
They set the whole 1st season up with the main character getting setup to take over the Camarilla in the 2nd series. Then he went and got himself killed in a bike accident and that was the end of the series. Which was a real shame as it was quite a good portrayal of the whole Vampire the Masquerade mythos and an interesting plot complete with Malkavians, Nosferatu, Gangrel etc.

Another vote for Firefly

Also:

The Tick (cartoon)
3rd Rock From the Sun

Let me just quote a show that was cancelled twice:

"We've just got to accept the fact that Fox has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80s Show, Wonderfalls, Fastlane, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Skin, Girls Club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, FreakyLinks, Wanda At Large, Costello, The Lone Gunmen, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddie, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric the Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, and Greg the Bunny."
For those that missed the reference:

That really sucks, why couldn't they just replace the guy later? I must hunt this down.
