Well at least it's not like Night Trap were people said with a serous face "This game (night trap) gives people the chance to kill and rape co-eds" (or something around that). I played night trap but your supposed to save them, and I don't remember any rape (and I watched all the vids from the game no rape).

I agree, even though I wouldn't have thought to say that myself and why cant people just have their own opinion, do they seriously have to back it up with god told them that so when they get proven wrong they can just say point the finger at god?

You could make the argument that video games violate the Second Commandment: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images, nor any likeness of any thing". One could further interpret that to make cameras an abomination against the Lord and say that Louis Daguerre (and Michelangelo, for that matter) is burning in Hell.

Well, if fundamentalists are to be believed, Michelangelo is burning in hell for being homosexual already.

Oh, well that's just how republican politicians are most of the time, don't let them get to you.

Well the fact that he jumped on the religion band wagon just goes to show hes the same pathetic politician that they spit out every time. Personally I'd quite like to shoot any politician who involves religion in law in any way (aside from obvious things like "Religion is not an excuse for murder" etc etc).

I'm agreeing here. I think this is BS. The only link I can find is from a single site and other references to that site.

Sites like gamepolitics.com, a site dedicated to this sort of thing, have no references anywhere.

Such a direct statement against a prominent game from a politician running for president would have had more attention withing the gaming news community.

Edit: Actually, I found a disclaimer for the link too saying that the site is dedicated to political satire and news story parodies. This is total BS. Here is the link:

I heard Bas Rutten & Stephen Quandros say once, during a Pride fight, after a pretty serious MMA injury "Good thing John McCain isn't watching".

So John McCain also campaigned against MMA?

Maybe the guy just doesn't like seeing violence used as entertainment, which is perfectly understandable for a Vietnam vet who was in a POW camp.
