Single-player games that would be great with multiplayer

I tried the search bar and couldn't find any threads like this, so I'm gonna post it as my first thread.

What games do you think should have had multiplayer or would have been awesome with multiplayer?

I personally like the idea of Prototype with a sort of hunting mode. A group of people with the virus must track down one person with the virus. I think that having them shape-shifting to try and avoid capture would be great. And big chases across rooftops would rock

TES 4 Oblivion would be fun to have few friends.

The Saboteur would have been fun with multiplayer. Working together trying blow up Nazis would have been fun.

There was a multiplayer mod, and it got very boring rather quickly unfortunately.

Imagine 4+ player co-op in that game! Two people would be looting the electronics stores, one person would be hanging out in the grocery store and, the 4th would be fighting heroically in the movie theater with a bowling ball [one of the deadliest and most brutal of weapons]

Torchlight. That desperately needs multiplayer.

Also, Fallout 3 could be fun. One as a sniper from the top of Tenpenny, the other trying to get close, running from cover to cover =P.

Dead Rising 2 will have online co-op, so that's pretty much covered =P

That prototype idea sounds like a new kind of awesome

I also would have liked:
Just cause 2 to have a co-op.
Saints row 2 to have a 4 player co-op, two players was weak.
Mw2, spec ops was awsome, the campaign co-op would have rocked
fall out 3 online, just 2-4 player,explore the wasteland with friends.
Also a spec ops style mode in bad company 2

this. when i saw the trailer i thought for sure there would be multiplayer, it would be awesome to go strolling with a friend doing some of the quests, especially the stupid sloth demon part. fuck that part.

Just Cause 2 custom charecters, and just plain destroying versing other people would be amazing!

The sims. That way you didn't have to control every character and it would be so much easier.

I can't believe no-ones said Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for Co-Op multiplayer. I'll say it then. Also I'd have liked to see some possible multiplayer mode for Batman Arkham Asylum. Co-Op preferably. I love Co-Op.

I also agree with the previously mentioned Prototype and add inFamous. Two players team up to clean up the streets. Or one goes ultra-evil and the other goes good and its kind of a cops and robbers situation.
