I get suspicious on games of MewTwo when I watch killcams and something unnatural happens.

Most of the time it's those damn gaming headsets!
Yes, I've got a pair of $200 gaming headsets, but I don't always use them. I usually use them when I'm playing with my clan though.

My definition of cheating; hacking the game, breaking the rules, or doing something that other players cannot do, excluding skills.
If you did it without hacking the game, using a skill that anyone is able do, it's not cheating. Anyone can use autoaim, so it's not cheating. They just choose not to use it. And now they're just mad that you're not playing their way, and beating them.
What he said. By the way, anyone can use an aimbot??? I thought that was a hack.

Anyway, cheating can have a wide range of definitions; if you hide in a rock a shoot people who run by but they can't shoot you because bullet penetration can't penetrate rock then you are cheating. <glares angerly at Fuel map from MW2; the rock glitch> But if you find a little nook in the arena that anyone can get into simply then that is NOT cheating.
<Karachi map from MW2; kinda hard to describe where it is but you know what I'm talking about if you've used it>

I was a pretty good CS player back in the day, playing near the top of the UK's best league. The downside? Playing on public servers was a pain the ****. Constant accusations, usually on the basis of my score rather than doing anything suspicious.

Have the same problem with MW2, but since there's no written chat on the X360, muting the entire server makes sense.

EDIT: Oh, and for using the tanks in CoD: WaW. Seriously, if I saw someone in a tank, a couple of satchels later they were dead. And yet half the people who played that game talked as if they were invulnerable.

If it's in the game, it ain't cheating. The game might require more skill if there was no auto-aim...but it's not like it's a wall hack. It's part of the retail code, for fecks sake.

On TF2 i was a huntsman sniper on 2fort and had just got into a confrontation with the enemy team, i got hit by a pyro but killed him and then everyone noticed that i wasn't getting damaged by afterburn (this confused me too). eventually an admin came on and explained they'd disabled afterburn damage because their players were annoyed by "w+m1 pyros".
My only experience of a cheater was also on TF2 where two people were clearly using speed hacks.... picking up intel to scoring in 5 seconds? that's not natural.

In css people accuse others very easily of cheating if someones doing very good. And yes I've been accused of cheating multiples times in css.

I have never been accused of cheating and i to the same thing you to in red dead and I always get more then the rest of my team combined. I also don't mind if someone cheats in single player or co-op. i also include abusing glitches in a game as cheating I know everyone can use them but it makes it no fun (I'm talking about versus multiplayer of course). I think I recently played against cheaters in team fortress 2 (xbox) they killed me in one shot (any weapon) I killed a guy outside the spawn then he attacked me with a rocket launcher 2 sec later and the respawn time was 10 sec plus watching your corps for about 3 sec another guy backed stabbed me after i snipped him give me an explanation for that

I have been accused of cheating numerous times in MW2 while sniping and just getting lucky in general. My best game I went like 40-12 had pretty much the entire opposing team hate me.

I used to, on Quake 1. Back when most people were still on 56k or less, I played from Uni which had a leased line. Good player + 25ms ping = lots of accusations. I wasn't great or anything but I knew the game well enough to make some freaky predictions by player patterns and level sounds that meant it looked like I had an aimbot or wallhack or something.

Also... juggling made people angry. :/

No because I'm not good enough to be accused of such things.

I do remember one game, however, where I was playing with some buddies of mine in L4D2 and we were doing Team Vs. We came across one team and we figured they'd be about as good as us or something. We start playing and we barely make it out of the safe room in every map while the other team gets to the end of each chapter with barely a scratch on them. You gotta admit... for a team that had been playing together on Expert campaigns for quite a bit, that's a tad weird for THAT much skill difference.

EDIT: Scratch that! I actually have been accused of cheating, but in all fairness, my friend and I were just building shit in Survival Maps of L4D. If it had been versus, yeah, I'd admit to calling it cheating. But if we're just building shit for fun in a survival map, it's just messing around if anything.

One advantage to sucking at multiplayer - no one chews your ear off with false accusations :)

So I was accused of cheating earlier in Red Dead Redemption. Why? Because I had about 20 kills, and 18 headshots, while the next best player had about 6 or 7 total kills.
How did I do so well? Auto aim, then a bit up for a headshot. I do this often, and it works fine. (I wont pretend I am super amazing, I know auto aim is 80% of it)

Despite telling the rest of the players how I achieve my scores, I was accused of cheating by many of the -other- team (which is something I plan on talking about later)

Now, this is not asking you all to believe me, but I am curious if you have ever been accused of cheating due to doing well, or if you are the kind to assume one is cheating if their score is rather much higher than everyone elses?

I actually do get suspicious too of exceptionally high scorers, however I try to refrain from acusations until I have proof (saying you are cheating counts as proof, so saying you are using a program to cheat is just stupid)
That's not cheating. RDR has expert aim only modes for multiplayer that they can play if they don't want to be in games where people are using auto-aim to their advantage. The way I see it they have two choices. One, move to the no auto-aim game lists and play those. Two, deal with it because you aren't doing anything wrong. Auto-aim plus aiming up slightly for easy headshots is such a well known thing that I'm surprised there are still people who don't know about it.

If I'm playing with friends and I start to do well then my friends always start trying to convince the server I am cheating, sometimes the enemy believes them :(

Generally any time I actually win in PvP in MMORPGs. And by that I mean one time in one MMORPG, fighting a guy thirty levels below me, who agro'd me first.

There is a specific reason I avoid games where the main point of multiplayer is killing each other.

Fondly I remember first being accused of aimbotting during my first match of TF2 on the PC, after playing the 360 version for about a year...

I just hate that most greatly skilled people on online players are either cheaters or have twitch reflexes of a four year old, probably because they are around that age >_>
