There's the chicken thing. I accidentally set a chicken on fire, and the entire village proceeded to gang up on me. Seriously, do not fuck with their chickens. They can forgive an attack on children, but once poultry is involved...

Oh, and M'aiq is in the game! Running into him somewhere in the wilderness totally made my day!

Also, who the hell is Moira? I don't recall ever running into that guy (girl?), but somehow they decided to send some thugs after me.

I attempted to destroy a town with the might of my Dragon Shout that staggers people for about a second and deals 2 points of damage. I also turned into a vampire and it was night so I was pretty confident. Everyone died except like 2 kids. I immediately thought "It's time to work on that child-killing mod" and right afterwards I killed a guard and his body apparently, and entertainingly merged with a wall, after which his corpses began spazzing out Radscorpion style.

Man, I love Bethesda.

I had 3 thugs on me when I was leaving Solitude but I ran away because the guards were near and I was being accused of thievery. A couple of times I've come across a band of ominous warrior mages, one of whom tried to kill me.

I've killed 3 dragons in total so far but I'm learning new shouts faster than I'm collecting souls. I joined the Companions in Whiterun and was given a starting quest by someone but he didn't really say what to do and it's not in my journal. Help?
It's not under misc. It gets its own section (I'm about 87% sure) :)

If it's still not there at all then bug?

Sorry for dp, just figured i'd let this kind soul know what i think is the answer to his/her problem and my last post was pretty big for another quote and explanation :3
No I had a look ,it must be a bug. What did you have to do in the first quest? If I complete it, it might let me do the next one.

I was battling a dragon that snuck up on me while travelling, when this guy runs up and hands me a mace, then tells me to keep shtum - "If you rat me out I'll find you and kill you" He then spots the dragon and runs away stating "Death is not the greater part of valour" in a high pitched wimpy voice.

After killing the dragon a guy runs up asking if I just saw somebody shifty go past, I hand his mace over to him and point the guy out - Fugitive contracts a nasty case of Arrowfaceitus, and I get more gold!

2) Skyrim didn't randomly crash half the fucking time.
Please tell me that's just PC D:
I played 12 hours straight yesterday on the 360 with no issues aside from Giants flinging me into the sky.
I played for 23.6 hours straight according to Steam and I haven't had one issue, and I'm on PC?
In fact I've never had issues with crashing in Bethesda games yet it seems so commonplace.

I got a bounty to clear out a bandit den, and the bandit on guard out front was stirring a pot of soup, said good morning and totally didn't aggro. so I went inside and slaughtered everyone, and on my way out the guard was just leaning on the wall, casual as. I left them alive and every time I go past we're like "sup?" :)

Yeah, that Frost Troll was a total douche-nozzle. I found it difficult, and I was a Mage, with Fire magic, a Flame summon, destruction dual-casting AND a follower (Lydia, I believe).

It killed me the first time, while I was on my way tp High Hrothgar. Which wouldn't be so bad, if I had saved since leaving Whiterun.

As for oddities, I've had the Thugs come after me, but I just ran off (Mage, cloth armor, high sprint speed against enemies all dressed in what seemed to be heavy armor). I also had a bar-brawl with a bard, to defend to loins of a fair maiden. That was interesting.

Hahahaha, awesome. I had something like that happen to me. I was heading west from Whiterun, when I passed a small cave in a hill. Outside were a couple of bandits, one kneeling by the entrance, playing with something on the ground, the other obviously standing guard. I approached cautiously, weapons down, when the one on guard spoke up, "That's far enough."

I momentarily entertained the idea of murderating them right then and there, but I just walked on by and they were cool with it.

I plan on going back and testing their patience. ^_^

A random thug came up to me and told me to hold on to an Iron Mace of Embers, said he'd come back for it and kill me if I didn't have it. I haven't seen him in about 12 hours of play time. I'd probably disintegrate him anyways... Good ol' Skyrim.

Also two giant sabre tooth tigers attacked me out of nowhere at about level 7 and killed me in one hit each, being the frail little mage that I am.

Oh, I was being attacked by a dragon outside of Riften, and the guards were helping me. Then one guard turned to me and said, "You have to pay the entrance tax to get inside Riften."

DUDE, THERE'S A DRAGON RIGHT THERE.
I love oblivious NPCs. An undercover thieves guild member just loudly insulted the man we were stealing from while standing right next to him.

1 thing:
control panel > sound > select your speakers, then 'properties' > advanced

and set to: 24 bits, 44100 Hz

save and exit
That only fixes the Crash at main menu problem. I know about this because it was the only way to actually start the game.

All the other crashes have nothing to do with the sound. I have tried every option in the sound devices. And like I said, it is random. Sometimes I can play for hours, sometimes for a few seconds. Just have to wait for a fix.
Ah, ok then. I got a few CTD's and they where fixed after i changed this. Also i
Did you set your own advanced videosettings in the launcher? try resetting them to one of the presets: low, medium, high or ultra.
Rumor has it something can go wrong when you set your own. i noticed my videosettings got reset after a CTD when i had my own prefs in it.
Now im running at 'ultra' which isnt the perfect setting (sometimes choppy in crowded interiors) but i havent gotten a CTD since (fingers crossed)

Well I dropped down a cliff after I went exploring a mountain and landed behind a giant after promptly running away I found out he stopped chasing me and just stared so I went back and dual shocked him with magic and he started chasing me again.

After a 10 minute game of cat and mouse though which attracted two packs of wolves, a random party of travelers anouther Giant, two mammoths and a pack of wild cats and me shooting off as much magic as I could manage then chugging as many potions as I could (and occasionally being flung half way across the map from a Giant slamming his hammer into the ground and glancing me.) I finally killed one of them and managed to glitch all the others in terrain I got away, with a Giants toe! ^-^

Not a bad start at lv2 but I do think i'll avoid giants from now on.

Also I killed a chicken and the starting village now wants my head apparently.

I will give that a go. I guess I will just have to put it on Ultra until they fix this problem. Thanks.

EDIT: It didnt work. If anything it just made the game lag more and then crash. This is really starting to bug me.

I died once on it and decided I didn't have time for its shit. So I used two scrolls of fireball on it, and then shot it with my fire bow until it stopped moving. It still almost got to me though.

#1,2: How'd you manage to piss people off?

#3: I've actually been looking around online and some people are saying that that's one of those glitchs Bethseda wants to keep

#5: Just get farth enough in the campions quest line. Also, its fun to be a werewolf.

OT:
Well I'm currently stuck in a glitch from the House of Horror quest (see my thread about it).

I punted a spider over a hundred yards. I jumped to attack me at the sametime I hit it with a fully charged Unrelenting shout.

I have decapatated SO many people

1,2: No idea, I guess I either killed the wrong person or in the case of thugs stole something and they didn't /guard report me.

3: I like the giants being hard to kill and hitting you like a baseball. It kinda makes sense and doesn't seem like a bug/glitch to me.

5: I know, I'm currently working on that questline myself. The whole "bite" me thing was a joke but its even funnier how many ppl took me serious.

OT: New things, there is a Pickaxe you find on top of the highest mountain, Throat of the World, called Notched Pickaxe. I'm pretty sure its a Minecraft/Notch reference... There's a subtle Star Trek Next Generation reference in the name of a character, Temba Wide-arm. A couple King Arthur myth references; A sword in a stone, and a skeleton in a lake holding a sword in its hand above the surface (lady in the lake?).
All in all good show Beth, this is a great game.

That thing was a *****. I got onto a hill and i managed to shoot ONE HUNDRED steel arrows into it with an imperial bow. Then it died. Was a great moment for me. Was a pin cushion.
