Let's wait till Bethesda is to the point where they can make a stable SINGLE player game before we start to ask for Co-Op.
Probably a good point.

I hope Bethesda sticks with their epic (as in huge) single player games. I don't play any multiplayer games and don't plan on starting so its nice to have some companies make games for the single player aspect instead of just tacking on a campaign to a multiplayer game.

In a word, no.
Not 'cos of the worlds or any such thing, but those games are so poorly balanced that multiplayer will be broken.

People don't realise just how well or poorly their character plays compared to someone else's 'cos they're stuck in single player PvE.

Hmm ... one exception ... is to allow other players to take control of your companion(s).
That won't be game breaking, 'cos they're already statted and are there to support the protagonist.

I heard multiplayer described in a way that sounds pretty neat actually.

Ok, so all the taverns/inns are online "hubs" if you will, where you can see other players. Outside the taverns/inns is your own world, just for you. In the taverns/inns you can talk with people and invite them to your game, or join yours. When your both in a party, you both are in the leader's world. You then go out and adventure together. You could also choose to turn these hubs off if you don't want to deal with anyone and just want your world..

You know how stories always seem to start in taverns/inns. Its not far fetched at all for a fantasy game. And sounds like it would work pretty well. At least with Elder Scrolls.

Sounds cool to me at least.
That sounds like a decent idea.... And wait just a second where is your other avatar? Sometimes I feel like the last gentleman on this forum.

four words... two player split screen... nuff said
Now THAT would be awesome, my friend and I both love Co-op games, playing fallout or elder scrolls split screen would be awesome beyond words. But online co-op, I can't see that happening because I would hate to have a griefer kill all my game's shop keepers, I'd think it would be cool, but I'd never play elder scrolls or fallout with some complete stranger, maybe with friends over the internet, but never strangers.
