Dear Bethesda,

Let me bank the Elder Scroll (weight 20!), Stones of Berenzia and all the redundant quest items I have that I've already completed the quest for (bard instruments, books, etc).

I want my inventory space back. You can keep your backwards dragons and flying goats.

Kind regards,
Rabid Kleptomaniac

for the elder scroll go to the book guy in the collage you can sell it to him

so far no really notice the effects of the patch, tho they might have possibly patched the two minor ore vein bugs that´s been annoying me, I shall see once I find bigger gatherings of veins.

Has anyone else been fighting a dragon and then had another one come to join the party?
kinda, I had a instant where two flew over Dawnstar, one starting attacking, the other flew away.

I wanted to wait a few days before downloading this patch (see if it causes problems), but of course steam automatically updated the game the moment I turned steam on, even though I put it on "do not automatically update".

Ah well, I've grown used to Steam being shitty from time to time, I just hope this mod only brings improvements and doesn't mess stuff up (or break my mods).

I'd have to say with this latest patch the water effects look even MORe beautiful now. The pools in Dragonreach actually LOOK and move like water, even so far as getting slightly cloudy to indicate depth. And performance has improved.

All in all I would like a HORSE pointer or at least the option to whistle for my horse and have him come trotting up.

One: Skyrim is the hottest topic on the escapist right now

Two: Posting a story about it is guaranteed page views

Three: Escapist doesn't post specific news, they post what they think is cool or what they think needs to be read.

Besides, i'm not getting the game till Christmas (because i'm cheap and also spent my money on saints 3 instead, so I have to wait) and this is a convenient way for me to find out about the changes.

Quest items don't have weight even though the display says they do. Also you can hand the elder scroll to the librarian at the mages college.

aaaaaaargh Skyrim has got to be the buggiest game IN THE WORLD, I still like it but I REALLY want to cure my character's lycanthropy!
the warewolf thing? you can't? there is a mission you can do to cure it forever (but why would you?).
So I can become a vampire :D and no I can't, I've helped out all the others to cure themselves, and I've got the witch's head, but when I activate the flame NOTHING HAPPENS!!!
If you are on the PC you can remove lycanthropy with these console commands. (from usep skyrim wiki)

Alternatively, if the quest chain is bugged for one reason or another, you can remove your Lycanthropy in a few steps with the console:

(Quoted text should be typed into the console without quotes)

1. "player.setstage F6090 0"
2. Save the game
3. Quit to main menu
4. Load the game you just saved
5. "player.setstage F6090 100"
6. "set PlayerIsWerewolf to 0"

I hope this helped : )

I do not take ANY responsibility for this as I have never tried it myself. If something nasty happens, don't blame me ; ) Although, I guess the usep wiki page is pretty reliable.

If you however own it on a console, I don't know any way to fix it : (

Yay, I might stop crashing every hour or so now! Maybe. Hopefully.

Listen, I get that Skyrim is the hottest game on the planet right now. I haven't gotten my hands on it, but I'm aware it's incredible. I'm not saying nobody should enjoy it or anything, but why is this front-page news on The Escapist? It's a patch. Not a day goes by without some popular game getting a patch. You can pretty much always find the patch notes either linked in the launcher, or on their website, or on Steam if the game is available there. You don't see patch notes for any other game show up unless they cause some unintended side effect, so why is it that Skyrim gets special treatment and EVERYONE MUST KNOW that a whopping 7 things changed? I play League of Legends and Terraria, both of which just underwent MASSIVE changes in their most recent patches, but I wouldn't expect or really want them showing up here because I already know about them. This isn't news, and it just isn't that important to anyone who didn't already know there was a Skyrim patch out.

I really hate to be such a sour guy about this, but it bugs me that something like this hits the front page when much more interesting are probably happening in the world of gaming, but instead I'm being told that a game - big shock here - got PATCHED! Again, I get that Skyrim is pretty much the biggest game out there right now, but this just isn't news, especially since it doesn't look like they did anything beyond bug fixes.
Because last patch caused dragons to fly backwards.

Dragons.

Flying.

BACKWARDS.

My best glitch so far was a group of mammoths falling from the sky.

I kind of hope this patch doesn't create even more problems for Skyrim. Like making dragons spawn inside inns or something. :p
Still, that would totally be worth seeing at least once...

Skyrim 1.0: Only a few rare graphical glitches, any other glitch is extremely rare.
Skyrim 1.2: Magic resistance stops working right, books no longer show up on shelves, dragons fly backwards
Skyrim 1.3: ???

I have yet to get any major problems with the game. The only thing driving me crazy is performance on the PC version. Most likely associated with nvidia drivers, I keep getting lopsided performance with my SLI set up. GPU2 will constantly be doing all the rendering while GPU1 does 10% of less. I tested everything I could think of, works fine in other games, and even sent a support email to Bethesda and have gotten no results (Or a reply from Bethesda).

Aside from that, no serious bugs.

1.4 REALLY needs to be dedicated to the game crashes, lagging, and corrupted/bugged quests on the PS3.

If I had know it'd play this bad I would have never bought the game.

Fool me once, next time I'll waiting to get any of their games.

Can we have dragon skeletons disappearing? Cause I find it hard when I have to wade through the three dragon corpses in Winterhold.

Hopefully this'll fix the problems I've been happening. It's similar to the bookshelf thing but my weapon racks just don't work at all - can't press them or anything. It kinda sucks after I've already spent so many hours saving up for the Solitude home and acquiring loads of awesome armour.

Hey, as long as they don't fix the invisible merchant chest in Dawnstar I'm happy. Still need to check that out.

Once? This isn't the first time the PS3/consoles have gotten the shortest end of an already short stick when it comes to Bethesda games.
