Is it wrong that when I read "Hello, I hate you", I immediately thought of a spade? (internets for the reference(don't have any cookies)) Also, "add a little (Lord) English to your strikes".

Anyway, looks to be shaping up to be a very enjoyable experience. Looking forward to it.

They better release a set of minimum and recommended PC specs soon, so all of us can start saving up. My laptop is likely to burn itself into a crisp playing this.
In order to compensate for a likely buggy and un-optimized engine, expect PC requirements to be somewhere north of Saturn.

Sounds pretty good, though I fear my laptop will explode from the graphics alone, so I'll probably get a PS3 version.

And now with the Kahjits & orcs lookin all badass and stuff, they keep you playing a nord?

That'll be the biggest kicker of the game, calling it now.

Anyone got an idea of what

9950x4@3GHz
5850
4GB DDR2

will allow me to run like with Skyrim? Based on Gamebryo, I fear for this thing getting like 10 frames per second or something unplayable like that.

So if it's a claseless game does that mean every character you make is going to be a jack of all trades and be good at everything and have no weakness?

In other words, Fallout 3's skill system?

I just have to find an excuse for my Morrowind Crimelord character to be in Skyrim. Seems to be a long way away. He had an excuse to be in Cyrodiil; expanding (or repairing) his criminal empire.

But why Skyrim? What could be there for him?
One idea is having him captured at one point and officials just want him far, far away. So they send his ass all the way over there to get him executed. And my argonian being himself, escapes.

It's one idea.
Although, unless he's an Altmer/Dunmer (and for Dunmer it'd still be a stretch), he'll be long dead, since it's 200 years after Oblivion.
My particular character has reason to be alive.

I really want to see how Argonians look :3

Not an image board dude, put some thought in there. But on that note I already have my Witcher 2 Collector's Edition preordered, but none the less extremely excited for this game; you don't have to hate one and love the other
I'm sorry, I guess that was a bit childish on my part.

What I meant to say is that I'm really glad that there are so many potentially great RPGs coming out this year that I don't have to put up with Bethesda's bullshit in order to play a good game. I'm going to try out Skyrim, but the moment I see scaling eneemies to my level or fetch quests that take me across the known world the game is going right trough the window.
Don't worry dude I felt the same way about level scaling in Oblivion and to a lesser extent Fallout 3; thats why I was so happy when New Vegas didn't have it. Plus Witcher 2 is looking pretty sweet itself, am I right?

Now not only will you see packs of wolves hunting (and eating) mammoths...
What? Really, there's wolves hunting mammoths? You may just as well have a kitten hunt a bear.

Anyway, despite this preview saying a lot, it still doesn't tell me if it's a good game or not. Does the NPCs actually have personalities? Will combat be balanced? Is there any point in making specialized characters, like a weapon specialist? I think I do as always and wait until a lot of other people bought it and then check some YouTube videos.

They are sticking with the "use a skill to increase it" system? I thought they had disposed of that for it being broken. I really don't what to be running around casting the same spell over and over again. How will they deal with the abuse of the system?

You mean the left stick right?

Now I'm going to be worried when I through away stuff...not that I haven't been like that before since I'm afraid it's gonna stay there forever.

Why did you have to go and put this preview out? You should have just kept that damn information to your self. After reading the whole article I was actually ACHING to play this game, then you finished by saying it wont be comming out till november.....thanks for the blue balls here Butts.

Oh God. This sounds amazing.

The definitive question is most definitely what you said:

CAN WE STILL BUY HORSE ARMOR?

so the "way of the voice" or whatever is an ancient nord secret,
and the Septims were of dragonblood, and they were imperials,
and where does that leave the other races?

another thing, they say it's a classless game,
i sure hope that means that races won't have racial bonuses, you know what i mean?
You mean the Argonians canonically loose the ability to breathe underwater and immunity to all poisons or the Orcs which are an inherently larger species than the others posseses the same strength as a Wood Elf half its size contradicting the pre-established lore of the previous games?
That's exactly what i meant,
kind of a stupid statement now that i look back on it,
but still, that'll mean that your race will kind of determine your class,
which will mean that your still kind of choosing a class at the beginning of the game,

what? but you totally had weaknesses in fallout 3's skill system,
i poured all of my skill points into guns, repair, barter, and speech, and that left me useless in every other skill,
could you please explain how this makes me a jack of all trades?
