What's the listener? I still haven't got the game yet.
The listener is a person who listens to a corpse who tells them that someone wants you to perform an assassination.

.... Erm.. what...

No, the Listener is the leader of the Dark Brotherhood. The Listener used to talk to the Night Mother, who told them about anyone who wants an assassination (Oblivion). But then the Dark Brotherhood started to fall apart and lost the Night Mother, so then they just found out about assassinations from the "grape vine"(Skyrim).

I was trying to use words that they will understand without any knowledge whatsoever of skyrim and its lore. If they haven't played the game, you just said: No, the Listener is the leader of the ????. The Listener used to talk to the ????, who told them about anyone who wants an assassination (Oblivion). But then the ???? started to fall apart and lost the ????, so then they just found out about assassinations from the "grape vine"(Skyrim).

I also dislike the Dark Brotherhood and tend to wipe them out so I am a little biased against them too.

OHHHH. Right. Sorry, I thought you were just saying: "It's a guy who listens to corpses then kills people!" My fault, sorry mate.

Or maybe get Paarthy to move on in, if I can pile a few beds together for him. Poor thing shouldn't be stuck up a cold, windy mountain when he could just come live with me!
From that sentence i can only presume your playing as a kindly old grandmother who somehow managed to end the civil war by baking cakes for everyone.

I think i'll get Lydia to do it anything to stop her to watch me sleeping, unless she does it in the new house as well. Dammit Lydia just leave me in peace.

Well, pretty much in spirit. More like an unusually friendly and cheerful Khajiit paladin/master cook. Trust me, if I could have solved things by baking cakes I would. :3

It made for rather interesting roleplay at times. Being a kind, happy kittyknight, but still not above cutting people's heads off. Hell, it's the paladin paradox at work, the boderline between being a just crusader and helping hand and being a gavel-wielding fascist. Sheogorath would've been proud. If the Skyrim-thing doesn't work out for Khan, he's probably got a future on the Shivering Isles.

"Khan don't like to do it, solve problem this way, but... Undead doesn't like pies. And there are too many bullies in the world. Living or rotten. They don't listen to Khan. The only language they speak is brutallity. Thankfully, Khan speaks that, too."

Now that I think about it a bit more, I'm not home very much when I play Skyrim. The Companions could lend the place, use it as a clubhouse of sorts while I'm off, get some use out of it.
