I think you meant to say gorons, unless there actually were snake-haired women of greek myth in wind waker. would definitely have been interesting.Lim3 said:I loved that Zelda game, the only thing it needed was more gorgons (there were only 4)

It's not quite the same, but there's only 1 letter between them. It is very interesting though.chif-ii said:Let me get this straight. The king of Hyrule has the same name as that owl dude from Ocarina of Time? Far-out!

EDIT: He also isn't the king this time round, since Zelda isn't a princess.
Right?! I'm feeling the exact same way!wooty said:Dammit! All these news stories and screens are starting to make me want to buy a wii. I know, scary.

I actually reserved the Limited Edition for Skyward Sword anyway, even though I don't have a Wii. I'll probably sell it later and try and make a profit. But now I'm really tempted to buy a Wii and, well, play the game.
But then I remember the Wii only has like...what, three good games? So I dunno. And in all fairness, Zelda games are fun but if I wanted a game with a deep plot and plot twists and stuff, I would play Final Fantasy. Or whatever works for everyone.
In Wind Waker he had a grandmother, but not a mother.OutrageousEmu said:No, I think he had a mother in Wind Waker.Scrustle said:Awesome! Isn't this the first time Link hasn't been an orphan?
Well since her family becomes the ruling elite of Hyrule in the future I think it's safe to assume they are special for some reason.chif-ii said:Oh, okayScrustle said:It's not quite the same, but there's only 1 letter between them. WAIT.
But why ELSE would you use your magic wind power bulls*** to kidnap someone if they aren't a princess?
Eh, true. Some iterations of the story give her magic powers (Spirit tracks and Minish cap stick in my mind), so...okay, I can swallow that.Scrustle said:Well since her family becomes the ruling elite of Hyrule in the future I think it's safe to assume they are special for some reason.chif-ii said:Oh, okayScrustle said:It's not quite the same, but there's only 1 letter between them. This game is supposed to be the earliest Zelda in the series, apart from maybe the Four Swords trilogy (Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures and Minish Cap), but their placement in the timeline is fairly ambiguous so that one is up for debate.chif-ii said:Eh, true. Okay. I wonder if they'll ever reach a point where they put you in green for a reason other than "shut up, all the past heroes wore green and THEY didn't complain, deal with it".Scrustle said:This game is supposed to be the earliest Zelda in the series, apart from maybe the Four Swords trilogy (Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures and Minish Cap), but their placement in the timeline is fairly ambiguous so that one is up for debate.chif-ii said:Eh, true.
