Sniper Update Coming For TF2

I am actually looking forward to this update, wonder what kinda fun shiz they will add, hopefully the sniper will have the ability to defend itself at least partially at close quarters.

i really hope that they introduce a sniper that can penetrate people.... soo many times have i had a perfect shot on an enemy sniper then have a retarded friendly scout jump infront of me just as i click to shoot and then get sniped right after....

At the moment i think that the sniper is one of the most annoying classes, you can be on a huge role and then out of nowhere like a mile away, not even a head shot just a sniper charging his gun kills you

I hope they give him weapons that set the sniper back, like no charged shot but instead you get two shots at the head shot instead of one instant kill body shot or foot shot... or little toe shot...

Here's hoping for a stake gun/bow of sorts. Does not do lethal damage, but pins foes to walls.

Its like you have ESP Or WORK FOR VALVE except for the non lethal Damage

It's a tribal shield that'll protect you from backstabs (once, then it breaks) at the cost of your SMG. This'll be interesting: getting guarenteed backstab protection at the cost of your main anti-spy weapon.

Then again, seeing as it was posted on the 1st of April, it may just be something to lead us on.

I asked an artist from Valve (at a comic con) if this was true, he said he couldn't tell me because it would spoil the suprise. I don't know if this is good or not.

Spies were always the N.1 enemy of Snipers so its at the same time is a TF2 joke and a way for Spies to counter the new tribal shield, without needing to wait a year for it.(that pocket watch that fakes death.)
