This is pretty old news isn't it Funk?

Still cool though, Apple is helping in the war on terror. What do you think of THAT Microsoft? Eh?
Microsoft is too busy making weapons for the soviet.

Damn this is pretty cool, though I agree that if the Iphone can do that with just one App why don't they just invent a much smaller gadget specifically designed to do that?

I'm surprised that there wasn't already a military device for this precise purpose. Whatever gets the job done though.

There's been one for years. Downside is that it's made by Barret so it's 10 times as expensive as it would have been if it was made by anybody else.

Ah, cost-cutting. Is there any better way to supply armies?

This is not really that new.

There is a rifle system out there that is sold as I stated, a system. The rifle is a military precision weapon in it's own right designed for ranges of about 3KM or more, could be the tac-50, but what really makes it stand out is the incorporated spotter system. This system is designed to do all the maths for the sniper, taking into account all the details needed to place the bullet into a target every time.

This apt is just the same thing, but now available for any weapon and at a fraction of the cost.

The iphone has an app for everything doesn't it?

I woke up my dog laughing when I read "BulletFlight" and I suddenly imagined a commercial for that sort of thing.

"Hey kids, do you like shooting up your local middle-eastern?"

"yeeeeah!"

"But do you miss several times causing the gore factor to go down?"

"yeeeeeah"

"well then get the new app, Bulletflight!"

"It's so coooooool!"

Keep in mind that I doubt it's too much trouble for any interested snipers on the side of said terror to obtain an iphone and this app as well.

Um, the weapon in the picture isn't a sniper rifle. Just saying. Oh, and it looks like a toy.
It is actually, not to be rude or anything but its an SR-25 or the M1101 SASS

"You want to make sure your high power sniper rifle can hit its target without fear of wind speed, velocity, and the rotation of the Earth? There's an app for that."

Sniping's a good job, mate. It's challenging work, out-of-doors... and I guarantee you'll not go hungry, 'cause at the end of the day, as long as there are two people left on the planet, someone is going to want someone dead.
Feelings?! Look, mate, you know who has a lot of feelings? Blokes that bludgeon their wife to death with a golf trophy. Professionals have standards: Be polite. Be efficient. Have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

You sir win one internets. But this just proves that the App Store has an App for just about anything.
