First of DR2 Great game combo weapons fun stuff Big casino's

But even thou they said there will be a squeal coming out in a couple of Months. But i dont know how it could beat that?

a Casino? Awesome. A Shopping Mall? Awesome 2 but i have no idea my only thought is that they do a MASSIVE Town like Melbourne.

Im all for a Giant Town maybe even a Ranch [Zombie horses?]

My best guess guess i reckon it will be a Amusement Park imagine fighting a Shotgun wielding Psycho in a Mirror House.

Where do you guys think the new DR3 Setting will be?

I think it should be set in the city of Hereford. why you ask, well because it would be a perfect place to turn zombies to gravy, I mean it isn't too big to take all the memory that the devs have to work with and it isn't too small that you get from one end of the city to the other in about 5 minutes. So that's my suggestion what do you guys think?

PS: I live in Hereford, so that is why I suggested it lol

Both Dead Risings have been "subtle" critiques of the excesses of the American way of life, a trend started by Mr Romero.
The first one was set in a mall and the second a casino, it follows then that the third will also follow this style.

Not being too clued up on the American way of life I can't really hazard too much of a guess; maybe DC during presidential campaign week/month/year? (as I said I'm not too clued up).

I really like that idea.

I also like how you think Melbourne is a town, not a capital city.
Imagine killing a zombie with a Roller coaster

A space station, springs to my mind. Not just any space station, but a super entertainment space station, filled with brothels and novelty clothing stores!

New York anybody? :p Every shop and office building available for entry and zombie ass kicking. Wonder how long that would take to make. *Note to self: Make best/biggest open world apocalyptic game ever*

Well the mall idea for the first game was derived from dawn of the dead, so the natural progression should be using shawn of the dead which if you don't know of it is an incredible parody of dawn of the dead, setting most of the game in a cramped london pub would be an interesting deviation from thce freeroaming nature of the first two games.

So kinda like Dead Space 2 'Mall' it had but i guess throwing a Zombie into Zero Grav would be kinda interesting

A mall reskinned as a casino, with bits in between. NO, BAD SAS!

OT: I don't care where it is set personally, but I'd love for it to be set in England, something like Shaun of the Dead. Just because it would be sweet to re-inact the film a little bit. Sadly though, I know this will never happen, so...yeah. My hopes have been crushed.

That would be awesome, but they need to spend more time fixing the damn game mechanics... It is a melee-type combat game and the combat is pretty clunky...

I'll be happy as long as it is set in a big town/city.

...

And let us be wimpy bitches and let us board up windows and doors and cry to ourselves for 3 days.

Barricading things up would be pretty awesome though. Could kind of be the zombrex of 3, Having to maintain the safe room's defenses.

An amusement park does sound like a good setting. To be honest though, I'd take just about any backdrop if they dropped the stupid time constraints.

I'd have to go with an Amusement Park too. Fighting a Psychopath on a bouncy castle would be awesome or something.

I'm putting in the umpteenth vote that a traditional amusement park would be great.

It's important that the setting has access to a lot of different types of 'places' in a small area.

A Canadian Mall! It would be totally different from the first two games with their American Mall, and Casino with all the little shops that basically added up to a mall. /sarcasm

In all seriousness I'd have to agree with the amusement park idea. Maybe you could set up rides to act as traps and help you kill zombies, ala end of Zombieland?
