The idea that the song is about people trying to maintain an image based lifestyle they can't afford is shown by some of the imagery in the video, too. It's not the best song ever, nor does it have the best video ever, but it's a catchy, fun tune. I'm rather glad that this holds the top spot, rather than any of the multitude of worse songs out there.

None of those views are mine, is all I can say. I generally don't take an interest in these things. Acutally, I find myself losing interest the more people talk about any kind of song, for better or worse. I've never heard a Justin Bieber song, haven't heard this Rebecca Black stuff, nor some other girl song that my friends were raging about. I don't pass judgement on these people, I don't frankly care!

Well, I suppose It's better than having Justin Bieber toppin' the list. It's a silly song, that pretty much nobody understands anything about. It's well made, and deservers to be there to be honest. I don't personally like it, It was pretty catchy the first time, but It's nothing I would listen to regulary. Still, I can understand that people enjoy it.

The choreography is actually spot on. There are some bits that are simply not done to the beat, mostly the one-off clips like the pool, however the rest is on. The kid dancing in the beginning is dancing in time, the walk through the horse stables, every step is on the downbeat. And the dance numbers on the chorus are, of course, set.
As far as not understanding it, it's in Korean. If you discount the music just because its in another language then you're going to be knocking out a LOT of good music right out the gate. Instead, treat the vocals like another instrument and just enjoy the music for what it is. Look for the harmonys, dissonances, and changes in timing. Vocals add a percussive beat that tends to compliment the drum kit.
And his looks...again, opinion. Can't argue opinions.
