Buy one or some of these: Infamous, Uncharted 2, MGS 4, LittleBigPlanet, Restistance 2 or Killzone 2. Solid titles in different genres, a good way to start and to increase your interest for Sony. Soon enough you'll be a fanboy.

The Uncharteds, InFamous, LittleBigPlanet, KZ2, MAG when it comes out...all the things other people have said. Definitely get Uncharted 1 or 2 first though.

Exclusives? I would go with MGS 4, Uncharted 2, And little big planet. I'm assuming since you said "preferably exclusives" you have an xbox, so you can get much better shooters than resistance and killzone. The infamous demo is fun, I can't vouch for the full game though because I don't have it, but if the demo is any indication, it's fun.

The Uncharted games are probably your best bet. If you enjoy being pissed off, I highly recommend Demon's Souls as well.

I got both and loved them. inFamous is a game for people who like a good story and Prototype is the kinda game that you play when you get the feeling you need to commit mass murder.

Uncharted 1 and 2. Demon's souls if your down to cry at difficulty...depends on what type of game you want...but those 2 are a good place to start.

tf2 isn't that bad, i mean not having trophies is a bit annoying and now having any extra content is annoying too, but all in all it's still a great game.

and half life 2 is pretty good, as is portal.

I agree with Uncharted 2, MGS 4, etc. But you must get flOw, Flower, and Wipeout HD from the PSN store. Brilliant exclusives, and cheap too. They show what the PS3 can do, both technically, and gameplay based.
