From what I remember 360 doesn't include peace walker.bluegate said:I see no reason for someone with both consoles to go for the Xbox360 version though, as the PS3 includes Kojima's "transfarring" system, capable of interacting with a PSP and, apparently, the PsVita ( or so were the rumors, haven't heard about this yet ).Bvenged said:MGS HD collection?
- can get it on PS3, comes out on Xbox too.
Although one might not own a PSP or Vita system at present, with an eye towards the future, I think that the ps3 version would be the better choice.
Again, I play it just fine. I've got over 30 hours logged into a save file and it still runs just fine. I've got a few friends who also lack this problem.Jitters Caffeine said:You not heard about how broken it is? Here's the problem, normally the game stops rendering stuff after you get far enough away from it. But the PS3 version NEVER stops rendering things, no matter how far away you are from it. So after about 2 or 3 hours, you're playing a slideshow.kortin said:Lolwat.Jitters Caffeine said:"I just bought a PS3..."
Sorry to hear that friend. PS3 gets passed up on a lot of stuff these days, not to mention the PS3 version of Skyrim is broken beyond repair because of the architecture of the console. Here's hoping there's a good "HD collection" coming out for you that'll make it worth it.
I play Skyrim just fine on my ps3.
It really only ops up during longer marathons from what I understand. But that would be off putting enough for me. Know I have to play my game in spurts to avoid it tearing itself apart. Especially considering I don't even like Skyrim that much.kortin said:Again, I play it just fine. I've got over 30 hours logged into a save file and it still runs just fine. Well then it makes a little bit more sense. I only play it in 2-3 hour sessions at most. I rarely do long marathons.Jitters Caffeine said:It really only ops up during longer marathons from what I understand. But that would be off putting enough for me. I DO play longer marathons because of my work schedule. Since I'm awake at night, I don't really have much of a sense of time since it's already dark outside when I'm playing. Six hours go by and I've gone through what would have been like a weekend of progress back in the day.kortin said:Well then it makes a little bit more sense. Where did he admit he was wrong? I would still define PS+ games as free because if buy enough then you get your money back. Suppose you can get a sixty dollar game or two thirty dollar games, if you paid 50 bucks for the service, you're up 10 bucks.Matthew94 said:Reviews, previews and advertising do a lot more for journey's sales than PS+ subscribers will ever do.Project_Xii said:You speak a lot for someone who doesn't have much worth saying.
What the PS+ people mean when they say "free games" is "we pay a subscription fee like XBLA, but instead of just being allowed to play games online, we also get games and items to download and keep every month for no further charge". Which really, for those of us who have no interest in playing online anyway, ends up being a pretty good deal. I haven't once regretted signing up, and have scored quite a few games and cool downloadables. Well over $400 worth at least, which is far more then the $50 I paid. Plus, things getting Journey one week before everyone else means we can actually help developers by generating extra hype and interest in the a worthy game so the true launch would be even better.
But at least you admitted you were wrong, those games are not free so do not say they are. Saying you think PS+ is better than XBLA doesn't make my point less valid.
Hey, I checked out inFAMOUS and loved it! Would it be possible to grab that voucher from youAzure-Supernova said:I don't know if you were thinking about buying inFamous digitally, I have a 50% off voucher that came with inFamous 2 if you want. Also Valkyria Chronicles is a pretty awesome turn-based, realtime combat, strategy JRPG.Appleshampoo said:Haha, thanks for the replies!
inFAMOUS and uncharted are on my list of games to get, along with Mgs 4 and the Mgs remake! I was thinking of trading Battlefield 3 in, but then I used the online code and I doubt it'll be worth much now QQ
Sent it to you in a private message. Don't forget the free Gigawatt Blades DLC!Appleshampoo said:Hey, I checked out inFAMOUS and loved it! Would it be possible to grab that voucher from you?
Why are you in this thread? You are just starting crap and you know it.Matthew94 said:They didn't say they were wrong, true, but by admitting that the games need to be paid for in the same way as you pay to get on XBL they pretty much did. I'll retract that if you would like.Whoatemysupper said:Where did he admit he was wrong? I would still define PS+ games as free because if buy enough then you get your money back. I don't like your cynical and critical demeanor. People come on here to suggest games for some fortunate soul to buy and you come on and attack someone for a simple error. I've seen redundancies in official or widely known icons and everyone lets it slip or doesn't care.
Being good value is not the same as being free and you are misinterpreting the word by saying it is free.
Adverb:
Without cost or payment: "ladies were admitted free".
The games are not free, you have to pay to access them. Do not spread misinformation. If they were free you would not have to part with money to access them.
PS + is a paid service to receive discounts, early releases, exclusive demos and cosmetic items on the cheap.Matthew94 said:I'm just not letting people spread misinformation.eyepatchdreams said:Why are you in this thread? If I bought a PS3 and was told by people I would get free games I would be pissed so I'm making sure it doesn't happen to the OP.
Sorry If I'm not bowing to our overlords in Sony HQ.
