I will give you the same advice a good friend gave me, which helped me last week IMMENSELY.

1) Wait for a moment when she's enjoying herself in your company. If she's laughing and smiling, it's usually a good day.

2) Do not overdo it. Do not show up with a rose and stuff. That's not a good plan.

3) Try to be simple and sincere about it.

I'll echo anyone who says something along the line as: Say you've got a crush for her, ask her out, brace yourself for the best and worst outcome, don't trow yourself at her feet, try not to stutter (don't think that will happen if your brace yourself for the best and worst outcomes though).

Ehhhh you'll probably be fine. If she's known you for awhile she probably likes your personality. Don't get stuck in the friend zone for a year like I did. (at the end I'd just moved on, to have a bad unstable relationship, but that was my fault and WILL NOT HAPPEN.)
