Stop using Windows.

problem solved.
See, but then I'd be forced to use a mac (Linux isn't my thing) and then I'd have to take a screw driver to my temple because I shouldn't be allowed to have a brain.

We're playing the troll game, right?

OT: Last virus my computer thought it had? Chrome.
Nope, no troll game.

Buy a Mac, Bootcamp a Windows install for gaming, keep your personal data on the secure mac side.

Live happily ever after.

Number of Viruses I've had since switching to OSX some 9 years ago.

ZERO.

Oh I had plenty of viruses when I was running a cracked copy of XP pro(didn't help that i was looking at shady sites). I got the virus posing as an antivirus a few times, several format and reinstalls later i decided to wise up and a friend gave me a copy of 7 for christmas and since then i've had no viruses.

I've had a few panic attacks when i thought Spybot S&D wasn't working properly but that was just my fault for misinterpreting something and what i though was a virus (my computer kept randomly freezing) turn out to be just a loose cable from the motherboard to the hardrive.

Running AVG and Spybot and they seem to do the job pretty well.
