I would say they sound much different than CS. The shotgun especially has a nice feel to it, and the hunting rifle is great. They all look pretty standard, but the best part is the damage dealt. Limbs fly and bodies drop more realistically than anyhting else.

For both, demo for everyone (that didnt preorder) comes on the eleventh. Demo for xbox I believe is also out now.

Yeah I couldn't get a dedicated server, but had loadsa fun on singleplayer. Which bodes well for multiplayer. Bandwidth must be preserved. I'm going to go tell my stupid flatmate to stop streaming Lost.

That's as useful as torrenting Team Fortress 2.

If you do torrent it, then please do us all a favor and don't come back to the forums ranting on how the game isn't any fun or how the AI is pathetic.

Actually, downloaded Steam games don't require you to use cracked servers. All you need to do is screw up the registry entry for VAC checks and it'll run normally.

In fact, the only real downside is the slightly longer download time.

I've been playing the demo, and so far it's every thing I hoped it would be. The gameplay is frantic and the team cooperation is really well refined. As soon as that demo goes public, I suggest each and every one of you download it.

Oh, and a quick hint: do not randomly shoot at the cars in a level. Some of them have alarms that you'll set off. If the alarm goes off, well, all bets are off...

I'll see if I can get a picture of the resulting melee from when the alarm goes off. Expect an edit...
