Not too bad, I've been occupied by schoolwork, so I wouldn't have much time anyway. I just spend the rest of free time I have here.

I still want to do that steam/PS3 connection thing for Portal 2, but I can't.

Eh, I got good single player games. Mass Effect 2, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo 5 Career, Assassins' Creed Brotherhood, Dead Space 2. I really haven't done anything competitive for awhile. I ain't complaining. So what's the message said hackers were trying to send?

RDR was good for story and atmosphere for me, traveling is always a pain, while Assassin's Creed I've never found too interesting anyway. I'd like to see an Assassin's Creed take place in Feudal Japan, enough of Italy.
Good idea. You deserve a cookie.

It is unbearable!

Seriously, PSN needs to get up and running soon. :/ I've been having the urge to play Saints Row 2 with my boyfriend! Not only that but we both sleep with our headsets on so it's like we're kind of sleeping together. Long distance relationship. :/ And ever since we couldn't sleep together, I've been sleeping horribly and less! So has he. :( It needs to work soon!

People actually use PSN? I swear to god, there's never anyone on it.
Huh, what are you talking about? A lot of ppl use PSN, many online games have many players constantly.

The only thing that bothers me (aside from the fact that I can't play Co-op Portal 2, but that bothers everyone so we'll leave it out) is that I can't upload my trophies. I have Dead Space: Extraction, Dead Space 2, Killzone 3, and Portal 2 trophies that I want to upload so I can see what level I'm at, but I can't. Bother.

I use my PS3 to charge my phone's earpiece (yes, the Sony one marketed as being for the PS3) and watching Blu Rays. The only game I have for it at this point is a single player anyway so, I haven't noticed or cared.

I'm only playing single player games on my other consoles too so if Xbox Live were to go down it would be just as devastating (ie: not at all)

I was in the mood for some Marvel vs Capcom 3, and I wanted to download a couple games. That's the only way it has affected me. It's still annoying as hell, though. I've got a pretty big backlog of games, and I really don't play online much (MvC3 is really it).

I only play my PS3 for backwards compatibility and every once in a while for Mirror's Edge. I wouldn't notice if PSN had ever gone down.
Blasphemy! The PS3 isn't backward compatible!

Oh, wait, it WAS backward compatible. it went the way of the other OS option. I really think this is going to be my last Sony console.

Been watching a shit ton of movies. Probably going to play some more Homefront, give FF13 another chance, or start either KZ3 or Crysis 2...

I'm not a big online guy for games, but I do find it obnoxious to not have Netflix for shows, though maybe when PSN comes back on w/ Netflix it won't take 2 motherfucking hours to watch a 20 minute show, fucking streaming is nice but a fucking pain in the ass.

The Blu-ray feature is nice, I'm currently at time of writing this watching the original Dawn of the Dead on Blu-ray, thanks to my wonderous PS3.

I have an Xbox, too, so that has been getting a lot of use.

Also, bought Fallout 3 for singleplayer needs, so I think I'm alright.

The only thing that irks me is that my buddy and I were all set to online co-op Portal 2 (no chance for splitscreen as we are on opposite ends of the country). Apart of that, I've got GoW, GTA IV and Portal 2 single player that I'm currently going through so I'm definitely not bored.

...I barely noticed. Netflix still works, as does the blu-ray player. I do most of my gaming (and all of my multiplayer gaming) on PC.

Didn't they take it out so that the PS3 wouldn't cost a shit-ton amount of money to create and purchase?
You mean so they could boost sales by not being the most expensive console on the market? oh wait...

ACTUALLY, I don't know why they removed it. I've heard it was a cost cutting measure. I've also heard that it was a conflict issue, though I don't believe that. I didn't get one of the first two waves of PS3s, but mine still does PS1 games. My mate has one of the first two waves and hers does PS1 and 2 games. Now, they don't do it at all, and I can't comprehend it since it still plays CDs and DVDs, just not SONY GAMES. I've also heard it was a way to keep the PS2 relevant, done purposefully so that people would still be forced to buy PS2 hardware(consoles, controllers, memory cards, etc etc).

I don't know what the reason is, and I'm not going to get into "But it was an advertised feature!" because whether it was or not, it was expected. Myself, I was floored when I learned that my PS2 wasn't and never would be compatible, and I spent a LOT of time looking for a PS2 emulator I could install to perform the same function, even going so far as considering a dual boot OS that could run an emulator. Of course, now I can't do that EITHER.

I've...been playing on my PS3. I am a bit bummed that I can't play Mirror's Edge though, since Time Trials completed offline don't count online and towards trophies. Oh well, having a good time with Ninja Gaiden =)

I mainly use my PS3 for singleplayer games like Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted and God of War and such. I barely ever use it to play online, well sometimes when I feel like it of course (Killzone 3)

Bad, pretty bad, finished most single player campaigns already, kinda dissappointed that i already finished ME2, couldn't stand re-playing that, got bored after finishing dead money so i can't stand playing NV for awhile, but i've occupied my down time by watching 60 episodes of one piece, and finishing portal 2. suffering from withdrawl now, hope its back on in 16hrs.

I was finishing my thesis for the University. So now's like the first day I actually encountered the PSN down.
But right now doing a run on Hard in God of War III and hunting fugitives in Sengoku Basara.

There's a ton of offline goodness on the PS3, so I'm not exactly suffering.
