Just remember, it is just a game. I thought there was parental controls on xbox live. I wouldn't let my kids play games online because they would just piss off everyone else. Sorry about the ban though.

Yeah... for reference, the healthy reaction to something like that is to say something along the lines of, "I don't really think this team is working out, so long," and then go find another group to play with.

If there are some who are worse, it's either the German or Swedish kiddies. They are god awful. But don't be quick to dismiss them because of their voice, some are really good, work together, listen and communicate. Although they're rare....like finding a diamond dug in a mile long beach.

I've gotten a few messages asking me to file a complaint against someone I don't know (actually once it was a message asking me to file a complaint against a bloke on my own list) but I always ignore them. Sounds like you got unlucky, you should pay more attention to the horde next time.

I only really play Left 4 Dead on Expert. I've had one bad experience on it when I bunch of idiot 9-12 year olds threw all the grenades and killed each continuously at the start. I just left them to their 'fun' and went and played with real peopl.

I've gotta agree with the first few commenters: it sounds like you were being a jerk, OP. Those kids were having fun, they weren't doing it to piss you off (or if they were, you bought into their bullshit by getting angry). If you think winning is the be-all and end-all of online gaming, and you can't lighten up once in a while, I don't want you on my team.

I've never been yelled at personally, but I've had people abuse team mates for doing the wrong thing, and you know what? The person who gets angry is always in the wrong. Because it's a game. And if it bothers you that much, you can always leave.
