That's wrong on so many levels... but none of those have any link to them not knowing how to play.

1 9yo shouldn't be playing left 4 dead
2 you as a "grown up" should not be yelling at them (especially because they didn't know how to play . you could always search for another server)
3 what the hell

How about finding a different room to play in? Getting suspended is your fault and your fault alone. I'm proud of my 90% prefer rate on LIVE, and the fact that I've never once been suspended, or censored.

Umm... you yell at people over the internet because they don't do what you want them to do?

Getting suspended from Live is the least of your worries.
Yes indeed.

It's a game, not the olympics. If you loose because someone else doesn't really know how to play - deal with it. If that all you have to worry about then you have a happy life.

There is nothing more annoying in the online gaming world than wannabe sergeants. UT2004 was full of this, people screaming down the mic "Go to node 5! Go to node 5!", then complaining loudly when nobody did. Newsflash - other people playing are just trying to enjoy their game, they didn't log on to become your little minions for the evening.

I've gotten somebody asking me to file a complaint on their own account...
Yes, I get those all the time. It's an easy way to save ten bucks. When you want to change your Username you usually have to pay 800 points but if enough people file a complaint against a username then you are forced to change it for free.

I hate when people change their names. I'd be playing a game and then "TOEJAMsnotFUNGI" signs in and I'm left trying to remember when I added this guy as a friend.

Oh if your reading this, hello Toe Jam.

Okay, guys, here's a news flash. We DID leave that game....
But you also yelled abuse at them before you did. If you had just signed out and found another game, you'd be like just about any other person who plays on Live. Being better at a game doesn't give you the right to give orders or yell at players who aren't as competent. You're still violating Terms of Service and were reported for it.

They were little kids and yet you still yelled at them?

If you hate your team mates that much leave the server and save your breath.

Pretty much this. It is honestly pathetic you yelled at little kids instead you should have just started TKing and cackling thats how I show my annoyance because it then turns into my Happy Fun Time. Yelling and acting like a douche get you exactly what you deserve a ban.

When you were yelling at them did you say anything like "Why aren't you saving my boyfriend?"

If you did then you're probably a victim of homophobia, i.e. all the kids filed complaints against you when they realised you were gay.

Revealing your homosexuality on X-Box Live is probably the fastest way to cause trouble for yourself, especially when your arguing with immature kids.

At least you didn't get any hate messages like that guy who wore pink armour when playing Halo.

Yelling at team mates = mic spam, at least as far as Feedback is concerned. You may wish to develop a better coping mechanism. I also tend to find that "blaming the team" is a common excuse for a lot of Live-idiocy out there... sorry, without actually having been in the match I have to consider the possibility that you were the "I" in "team" in that particular game. Not that you get suspended for misbehaviour on the basis of a single game... it takes more than that, I understand, to make it harder to trigger malicious bans.

I can't abide idiots on Left 4 Dead. The game is meant to be played as a co-op, but if people run off thinking in their heads "Heee! I R MASTER CHEEF + I R POWERED BY RETARD!" then if they don't end up being ganked by hunters or smokers, then I have half a mind to kill them myself.

>___> I never said that on Live, it's just they were standing around killing zombie that weren't even near them making no attempt at all to save me or him.

Ok, so they were either being bad players or on purpose, or just because they're bad players. If it's the former, then they're jerks, but if it was the latter, they may have appreciated a few pointers. (Which you may have provided at first, before they kept being asshats.)

Bottom line, though, you were just as big a jerk by yelling at them instead of simply rolling your eyes and leaving. It's unfortunate that you got stuck with some lousy players, but such is playing online. You play with random Live folks, you're going to get some duds, that's just how it is. If you can't be mature enough to just leave and find someone decent to play with (without wigging out first, that is), you probably shouldn't play online with strangers anymore.

This is why I got L4D on steam.

I know little kids are a pain in the arse but we were all like that once too.

That why I go onto xbl (Cod5) and get my friend to yell at them :p
My fried- "So you wanna have gay sex?"
Little Kid- "Hellz Yeah!"
My Friend- "Hell Yeah!"

Very, good times. BTW where did the ratings thing on XBL go, i can't find it after the update :/
