So, what did you get for Christmas?

I bought myself a few games that were on sale on Steam and since the sales will last until January 1st, I am not done spoiling myself, lol. I also received;

- The Regulators by Richard Bachman (Stephen King)

- An Apple-Pear scented bath set. I actually love getting bath/shower kits. I only ever really have to buy shampoo and conditioner for myself anymore. People buy my shower gel, lotions, body mists, and bath poufs for me. I look forward to people paying for my toiletries. lol.

- Money. From both sets of parents and my remaining grandparent. Very generous of them.

- A new big 'ole t.v. for the game-hub in my office, and a new X-Box 360 wireless controller to go with the game-hub. It's a Birthday/Christmas present from my Husband. He's a dear.

I received so much this year and I didn't even tell anyone I wanted anything. I'm one of those, "You don't have to get me anything!" people. You know, the infuriating kind. I was content with just getting Holiday cards - which are all lined up on my dining table, but I am very thankful people thought of me and spent their money on me this year when they didn't have to. Feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Sick, at least on Christmas Eve. I woke up yesterday with pain in my stomach. I got some hot chocolate and then my stomach went in reverse. After washing my mouth out I felt a fart, let loose, and realized I also had diarrhea.

-Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It's a really great game so far.

-Gears of War 3 limited edition Xbox Controller. Now this one if awesome. I wanted one when it was released but couldn't afford it. Dad went in the day after and got me one

-7 gig mp3 player. Been needing a new one so it was very welcome

- The hunger games trilogy

-The first two Dragon Age Novels

-A Wii Classic Controller Pro

-Got Two movies. Saving Private Ryan and the Mist.

-A wireless Internet adapter for my 360

-Some Blank Dvds

That's not all of course but it's most of it. Overall I did pretty damn well.

Surprisingly neither of my parents stuck to my christmas list. (I had one for each, parents being divorced and all).

My dad got me a bucket, leather cleaning supplies, soap, polish, and a sponge with the explaination, "This is how you're going to earn gas money"

I saw their entire discography on sale for $100. I was seriously considering buying it.

If I had a spare $100 I would have done it . But that's only because I don't have any of their albums except DSotM. And by the end of today, The Wall too.

I got $50, Super Mario 3D Land, and some pancake and briskets set that is used for a last minute gift. Not the biggest haul and the stocking stuffers were very lacking, but I bought myself some S mores Gamer Grub, Mirror's Edge and Sonic Battle on Amazon. I like to say I made Christmas come early.
