In a big, metal, fireproof box. My secret stuff isn't anything bad though. It's mostly just bank papers and stuff like that.

I don't have any secret stuff. But if I did, I'd probably hide it in the drawer under my bed. It's full of technical manuals and the like, so no one ever goes in there.

I don't really hide stuff. But I hide the spare key for my lockable closet behind my magnetic bulletin board. And because I'm too lazy to take the other key with me if needed I hide that key in the old computer I have in my room.

I have a box in my closet loaded with personal mementos and old writings. Nobody opens that box, and very few even knows it exists. If I was going to hide something, it would be in that box because simply opening that box is a hanging offense in my book, much less seeing what is inside it. People understand that it is a box filled with personal items, and that it is not just something that I say in order to use it as a cover to hide away "illegal" stuff. There is nothing illicit or naughty in that box.

I hide my 70 dollars behind my broken down geezer TV that no one uses anymore, but somehow ended up in my room.

Desk, 3rd drawer.

I stored empty breakfast cereal boxes, some of them 3 months old, and it took my mom another two months to notice I stopped throwing them out with the rest of the garbage.

In my C drive. I hide it among system files where it never searches.

Seriously, I have nothing tangible to hide so my disk drive is the only place I may need to hide... certain images...

Due to Linux my secret stash of stuff is hidden in plain sight. Try to open the folder normally, nothing shows but you can open it (which gets rid of suspicion). You have to open the file manager in root mode (aka administrator mode) to get inside. But you first need to know the root password, then need to know how to open the file manager in root mode (no easy task since it requires knowing a terminal command) then you can enter the folder with the goodies viewable.

well i don't need them anymore, now that i'm old enough to not care.
but when i was younger, i used to hide pellet guns, knives, booze and files in my ceiling.

now, the booze is in the open, chilling (not chillin') in front of my air conditioner, coz the temperature's been in the 100s this whole week.

the pellet guns are mostly sold off, and the knives are just in a drawer.

the files, for the most part are digitized and kept all over separate hard drives, internal external, and flash.

EDIT: also, if you're too lazy to actually hide folders with admin tricks or lock programs, you can do what i did as a kid, just get a folder, name it comma (,) or something small, and take the folder picture away. then get a really complicated desktop picture and hide the punctuation somewhere in it. surprisingly, it works really well.

don't squish the two together though-- unless your girl likes full "flavor country" woodies.

I don't have anything non-digital to hide, so no secret hiding places as such.

As for digital media, memory stick with password software and launch-able browser sits near-ish my PC. No one has ever seen me using it, so I can just tell them it's an old memory stick which I don't use any more because I couldn't get files off it at school (the actual reason why it became redundant in the first place). Of course no one has actually questioned me about it anyway! Besides that, it's my PC and I only have one family member constantly at our house that uses it very occasionally (with my permission, it's a password protected account).

I hide stuff in the gap behind my TV, if I'm going away. For other stuff, either under my pillow, in a drawer or in a plain envelope on my note board.

If I tell you it won't be so secret anymore now would it? lol
Honestly though, hiding things in plain sight is my forte.

I guess I could always hide stuff inside electronic appliances, if I had something to hide.
