Not yet. Planning on buying a PS3 soon to clean up on the exclusives I've missed. This is actually one of the reasons I'm buying said PS3. Along with Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD

I only just FINALLY got Okami HD fully downloaded. I played it on the PS2 and on the Wii, but I didn't play long on the Wii because fuck motion controls. But Okami is easily one of the most beautiful games I've had the opportunity to play, and since I'm at a friend's right now, I'll be waiting to play it at home. And I look forward to it.

I am in. I originally played it as a rental, so I never got to finish the game, this seems like a good opportunity. I did greatly enjoy the Resident Evil 4 HD release, as the enhanced graphics lent some more beauty to an already good game, so I hope this will have a similar graphical upgrade.

It is downloading now, so, I may be able to play it in 10 hours or so after it gets done installing . . . damn PSN.

Can someone convince me to buy it? I keep hearing it's great but have no idea why.
It's like a GREAT 'Zelda' game, but better than most/half of the LoZ games that have ever come out.

Add to it an AMAZING visual style, solid game play, and a pretty enjoyable OST.

For the PS2 is was an amazing experience, a game out of 400+ I own, that actually gets replayed.

It's also this is one of those RARE games that I bought for the Wii, and actually played.

Okami, at least the PS2/Wii versions, tend to end up in my "Top 10 Games You Should Play, Even If You're Not a Gamer".

Looks interesting (love that it was redone in HD, I do have an aversion for very graphically aged games, even when they're games I love), might get it, but it'll be a while. Does PSN have holiday discounts like Steam?

Just got a PS3, bought it from a mate, so still got a big list of games I very much definitely want to buy (I heard great stuff about Okami and it'll definitely make the list, just got other priorities first). Journey, Heavy Rain, Ico and SoTC pack are my first three priorities atm.

I'm still getting used to the PS3 controls though. The controller is just awful to me for 3D games atm (which is really annoying because control ranks pretty high up on my list of issues with games). Got the hang of it for Mortal Kombat easily, played some Little Big Planet and I'm doing fine, but firing up something like Resident Evil 5 (not a game of choice, mate gave me his games when I bought the PS3 and I wanted to try co-op with my gf), I felt absolutely hopeless. Aiming a weapon? I feel like I'd rather take a set of levers to pull than a gamepad.

Are USB mouse and keyboard an option for the PS3? I heard you could use them with some games, so I'd like to try, but not sure how well they work/if all games are compatible etc. I'd like to get used to the controller, I really would (used to play GTA 3 on a PS), but it just feels hopeless to me for any shooters.

Well then it's a good thing Okami isn't a shooter, huh? :p I'm sure a M/KB setup was viable for the online games, like FFXI and probably FFXIV, but I'm not entirely sure about the rest.

Finally got to play it. And it's every bit as beautiful as it always was, and even better! Okami HD doesn't look like the standard HD upgrade. It certainly looks like more of an upgrade than what the Shadow of the Colossus/ICO Collection got.

Also, I don't think the $20 price tag is entirely unfounded. Okami is gargantuan with so much to do and see. It's well worth the money and I regret not a dime I spent.

I'm actually really surprised but just how much better the game looks.

I was expecting better resolution, but the game is probably the best HD port I've seen of any older game to date.

Aw man I would totally get it if I had those things that you need to hand over to people so they will give you stuff in exchange.

Haven't gotten it yet since I have an error regarding the PS Store and I'm already knee deep in games I don't have time to play (Assassin's Creed 3, Dishonored, Primal Carnage, Natural Selection 2, etc etc etc etc etc etc [seriously, it's like 200 games I own and still haven't played]), but I WILL be getting it when I can.

I already own Okami for PS2, 100% completed it once, and then got most of the way through a second playthrough.
That game is a MASTERPIECE.
I will support the everloving crap out of that game in hopes of getting a PS3/PS4 sequel made.

Considering I've vowed to myself not to get another game until Christmas, and Radiant Historia has already been waiting for a long, long time for me, chances are I won't be getting Okami in the near future. My backlog needs some serious attention.

^THIS.
Completely, THIS.

I had Okami and my brother had Legend Of Zelda:Twilight Princess. I played Okami and loved the hell out of it. Then I tried playing Twilight Princess and felt like I was playing a much more boring version of the same genre with a lot of the same elements (fantasy, RPG/adventure, wolves, darkness, etc). I couldn't be bothered to play the rest of Twilight Princess.

So it finally finished downloading, and I'm incredibly happy that I spent the money. Among all the HD upgrades we've been seeing, this one has much love and care put into it, and it serves to make everything that was gorgeous about it even more so. Plus I'm a trophy hunter kinda person so I'll take the metagame on top of it. Best version of this game that exists, especially since you can use the move controller to emulate the Wii experience in HD.

(Oh and Daystar, I hope you're not mad at me...I was totally screwing around with ya. I have this on PS2 and Wii but I'd like this game on the little stack in any form next to my deathbed. Hope we're cool.)

EDIT: I know how publishers are these days, so I wonder if Capcom is testing the waters to see if this is a franchise/genre worth continuing to explore, based on sales of this. Either way, great quote from metacritic: "The definitive version of one of the most beautiful video games ever created, not to mention the best Zelda game that never was."

Got Okami on release for PS2 played it loved it and have completed it three times thats enough for me plus 15 pounds for a game I already own is a bit steep oh and 6.3 gb means I lose over half my remaining hard drive space and because of my snail pace internet connection it would take me about 24 or so hours to download meaning I could probably put the original PS2 copy in and complete it before it finished downloading (missing some sidequests).

In short I love the game its one of my favourite games of all time but it dosent make sense for me to get this version I just wish more people supported it on release then maybe we might have had a sequel and no im not counting Okamiden as a sequel.
