I was supposed to go drinking with my buddies, but that got cancelled. Didn't have any other plans for tonight.

Oh shit... maybe it's truly the apocalypse... by BOREDOM!

My friend had an amazing idea - we all collectively pretend that the end of the world happened and that we all survived, and we make a big deal out of it like we're martyrs. That way, we can knock some goddamn respect into the generations that are too young to remember it.

"Grandpa, tell me again how you saved the EU Parliament from hungry tzitzimimeh."
"Oh really, it was nothing, like, I'm not even bragging..."

I'd like to think that somewhere, somehow, there is a band of heroes lying exhausted and injured but victorious in saving the human race from... something =P

Well the trains aren't running properly in the UK, surely the first sign of the apocalpyse is when the trains in the UK are running JUST FINE. So I think we'll be ok after all.

Still got a few hours left, it might still happen right?
Not a fuggin' chance in hell.

Not bloody likely, not frigging happening.

Not at this time, and not while I have my towel and bathrobe.

Here in Sao Paulo, things are okay. I was outside earlier and I got hit by a falling pine cone. I thought it might have been a meteor at first, but I was okay. It was the most disappointing hit-in-the-head I've ever gotten.

Where, according to one nut case....

Frederic, 28, an unemployed waiter from Marseille, squinted determinedly at the cloud-shrouded peak with a tent and rucksack.

"I must be up there between midday and two o'clock on Friday," he said earnestly, his brother Laurent, 35, by his side. "A ray of sunlight will pass by all the planets aligned to the Sun and into the rock. At that moment, a passage, a window will open up an inter-dimensional vortex. There is a hole the other side of the summit, about knee height, and we will sit in it. If the passage opens we will pass into another dimension."

Nope. Nothing.

On an unrelated note, don't trust the North Koreans to sell you a decent nuclear device, they're like the "Nigerian Princes" of the illegal arms trade.

I had spend my day at work. Last time I've check, the news said the world may end at 11.13am today or 9pm tonight (the actual Maya time). Either way I'm pretty sure the human race will continue to live on!

11 people, at least.

Also, if we didn't have people talking about the doomsday prophesy, then we wouldn't have gotten an amusingly not-photoshopped image of Godzilla stomping through Sydney. Then where would we be? Certainly not having as much fun, that's for sure.
Well it's true that it hasn't been photoshopped. Looks more like MS paint.
Indeed, it DOES look like MS paint. Unfortunately, 'MS painted' just isn't a thing that people say, and I didn't feel like rocking that boat.
