The "social justice" brigage is achieving through nagging what they can't through legislation. Censorship of public discourse. Anyone expressing an unpopular opinion is banned/warned away from "legitimate" sites until only the echo chamber of politically correct thought is even allowed to exist.

You're on a website that doesn't do that. And more importantly there are people in EVERY who have made echo chamber websites/forums/whatever. Places where they ban anyone who disagrees with them. Conservatives have done it, communists have, liberals have, different religions have etc. Some people want the echo chamber and this goes across all beliefs. I'm pretty sure all of those people would like to control the internet and make it their own echo chamber, but since almost anyone can make a blog or a website or whatever, it's futile. So unless they take over a site you frequent, no worries.
